Could Between the Lions ever come back?

Weren't the original Bert & Ernie puppets stolen? I recall hearing that on the radio several years ago.

Disney names Bob Chapek new CEO replacing Bob Iger

Given this guy's track record working for Disney, I have a bad feeling we may get even LESS new Muppet content than we already do now.

Video: Happy Presidents' Day from Sam the Eagle and Scooter

Boy, with videos like this, I really hope they're saving up their best material for the new Muppets program on Disney+.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

And I'm pretty sure Jim Henson said the same thing about The Muppet Show, but over time, it's been branded more as a "kids show," and now many uploads from the show on YouTube label it as that.

Sesame Street Episode 847 with Margaret Hamilton

I didn't think we'd ever get anything more from this episode, especially after the aftermath of the MOMI screening. However, reading through that review of the episode in its entirety, I think now even more people will be desperate to see the episode (somehow).

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Why in the world would people be leaving anti-Semitic remarks on Sesame Street videos? I know Shalom Sesame exists, but you never upload those videos on your channel.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

It's time like these where internet forums are more important now than they have ever been. Because if people cannot share their thoughts on certain children's content in the YouTube comments section, then maybe they will come crawling back to the internet forums and share their thoughts there...

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Well, you can kiss those comments on the Muppet and Sesame Street videos goodbye because YouTube just rolled out their COPPA restrictions, and now virtually every Muppet and Sesame Street video have all their comments turned off. Of course, for some of you that upload Muppet and Sesame Street...

Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

Exactly! They had something going for them when they did all those short online videos back in the late 2000s. In my opinion, that Bohemian Rhapsody music video was the closest they ever came to recapturing the Jim Henson-era of the Muppets. I don't know why they stopped doing them (and I am...

    Remembering Caroll Spinney (December 26, 1933-December 8, 2019)

I was afraid this was going to come sooner or later. How heartbreaking, but at least he lived a good life delighting millions of children across the globe for over 50 years. It seems fitting that his last public appearance would be the lighting of the Empire State Building to mark the show's...

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

I don't think you were "losing your cool," I think you had every right to be frustrated. If what they told you was true, it would definitely throw off a lot of people that would have looked forward to something like this. This was not a matter of "demanding too much instead of being grateful for...

Well, I hope you all have fun. I expect reactions to range from "Well, that was underwhelming." to "I traveled all the way to New York for THIS?!?"

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street YouTube marathon Friday November 15, 2019

Well, of course it's impossible, especially when 60 of them are missing.

Video: Sesame Street meets the Wiggles

Yeah, well I didn't think they were still relevant enough to do a crossover with Sesame Street, in the year 2019. It's kind of the equivalent of if they were to do a crossover with Barney. Sure, it would be long overdue, but I mean, who's asking for it?

Sesame Street to host 12-hour episode marathon on YouTube on Friday November 15, 2019

Well, twelve episodes is very minuscule compared to the over 4,500 episodes that have been produced over the years. I imagine that it will likely consist of the first episode, some season premieres, the Mr. Hooper episode, the Snuffy reveal episode, the hurricane episode, and the Julia debut...
