Oh yeah- here's something to whet your appetite. I've recently tracked down a copy of "Zoe's Dance Moves", one of the few older Sesame Street video releases I still haven't seen and have been wanting to comment on. So look for a review of that one coming pretty soon!:)
Get Ready for School with this new video and review!
I just recently got a chance to see this one, so here's a review of the "Sesame Street- Ready for School" video, which is a 2007 release with approximately 45 minutes for the run time.
Note- this also includes "Abby's First Day of School!"...
Hmm- this is an interesting thread... I'm enjoying the story though. It seems there quite a few Muppets that might need evangelizing! Pretty funny, man.
Cookie Monster trying to break the wild eating habit? Yes, he might definitely need God's help in this!:D
I can't wait to see how...
Well, there's already been a great review of the "Kids Favorite Country Songs" Sesame Street video, so like I said before, I direct you to this link for a full review.

However, I just got through watching this today and so...
Well, I totally agree that Muppet Babies is definitely a brilliant show and is not bland garbage. But I don't think Dragon Tales, My Little Pony or Care Bears or any other cutesy show is either. They have their place as well. Obviously most of these shows are aimed at a very young audience...
Good. I want cartoonists to be creative too- 'cause otherwise it'd be really boring watching cartoons. But I don't see any reason why you can't be creative and clean. Some things are aimed at children 2 and under and so should be under much stricter guidelines than others. And to their...
By the way, since there doesn't seem to be any recollection of Herbert Birdsfoot and Kermit ever interacting on Sesame Street (or any other Henson production), I thought that I would give a shot at writing a little sketch they could appear together in.
You can check it out in the Fanfiction...
That's pretty much what I figured. I think the huge crowd at the end of "The Muppet Movie" was meant to be representative of all the creations The Jim Henson Company had done up to that point, to demonstrate just how far "The Rainbow Connection" reached!:)
(I mean, even the Saturday Night...
Well, the nice thing about an Advent calendar is that if they get one of the normal ones, that have 25 days (for the 25 days from December 1 to December 25, leading up to Christmas) then there's plenty of room for everyone to take a turn opening one of the boxes on that day. So Elmo can get his...
Okay, well after starting up this thread (http://forum.muppetcentral.com/showthread.php?p=560956#post560956)
to see if anyone knew if Kermit and Herbert Birdsfoot ever appeared together in anything (and the answer so far seems to be "No", as far as we know)
I thought I'd give it a shot at...
So does anyone know offhand if Herbert Birdsfoot did in fact actually show up in the crowd scene in "The Muppet Movie"? I tried to take a look at it on my copy but couldn't quite make him out. (Though I noticed quite a few other interesting characters in there I didn't realize were there)
I...
If The Family Guy referenced Muppet Babies, they'd probably do what they do with most every other show or movie or fad or event or historical figure or whatever that they reference- make a travesty of what was definitely intended as a clean, family-friendly show or whatever.
Sorry, but I'm...
Well, of course that is true too. And so I happily celebrate both!:D
And to get back towards the original topic, I hope this new Sesame Street special will be a worthy addition to my Christmas celebrations!:excited:
On DVD, that would probably be the "Friends to the Rescue" one, containing the condensed Hurricane storyline.
Previous to that (and this one's only on VHS so far), I think it would be "The Best of Kermit on Sesame Street", with some new footage of Kermit and Grover, along with classic clips of...
I noticed someone brought up the actual birthday of Jesus Christ and they are right that it's probably not December 25th. But then, The Bible never specifically tells us when He was born and we can conjecture, but still not know for sure.
But December 25th. was chosen by the church some...
oh yeah- and I forgot about those crowd scenes at the end of The Muppet Movie and others...yeah, I suppose you can count them, assuming you can actually list them all- LOL
But I guess since that might be a bit hard, I'll stick with more actual interactions, even if it is only a brief "Hello" or...
