Cookie *overhears Ed*: They give out free cookie at sandwich place? *looks around and tears off leaving behind a poof of smoke*
Beth: Cookie Monster wait! I hope he has some money to buy the sandwich. *shakes her head*
Michelle Williams will never cut her hair - she is keeping that way in honor of Heath Ledger who always liked her with short hair. Looking at it that way I think it's kind of sweet.
I was shocked to learn Jim Parsons is 38 - I thought he had to be maybe 30, or younger, but he's not.
Beth: I really don't like this weather, it's making me sleepy
Red: But it's so warm outside, I love it!
Beth: There's no snow for you to play in though
Red: True. But I can play outside and not get cold!
Beth: Well today it's cloudy and blah and it's making me sleepy
Red: It's making you cranky...
I love this chapter just because I love the phone call and Clifford's quip about "So everyone but Rowlf" when Mom said that anyone who calls her mom or Grandma can come to the swamp. Good girlie fun with Betty Sue and Stacey, but then that last line. Uffda. Tough, but true. Reminds me a...
Solidarity. A tough concept for some adults to even understand and these children just totally get it. SO unbelievably sweet the way they all chose to stay in with Robin. That is a beautiful scene. And like everyone else, I love the part with Animal. My heart melted right there.
More please.
Both sides of the coin in this chapter - a little humor with the "call me mom verses Mrs. The Frog" and Animal going "Mama" like in the Bohemian Rhapsody video. Much emotion with the discussion of being like family, the members of the Frog family wanting to enlist and then....protesters...and...
Yay update! I missed this over the weekend somehow, but found it today. I love the playground for Robin and just how much he became himself again just being able to play, it was so beautiful to read that scene. And the scene with Kermit talking about Noah - a bit heartwrenching, but a good...
*Beth, Cookie and Rowlf sneak up on the sleeping Red Fraggle*
Beth *whispering* Ready guys?
*Rowlf and Cookie nod*
All three: HAPPY BIRTHDAY RED!
Red *leaps up in surprise* Wha? Ack! You scared me!
Beth: Well we wanted to be the first to wish you a happy birthday
Cookie: Give you cake
Rowlf...
I forgot about Horrible Bosses - I saw that one and was pleasantly surprised by it, I really liked it! It didn't get great reviews but I thought it was hilarious. I love Charlie Day because I'm an Always Sunny fan too, but even aside from him being in it, it was really quite good!
Beth: So I know again, I'm not doing a good job of hanging out with you guys that much, but it's that time again - do we all want to hang around here another semester? I'll do my best to pop in here and there.
Red: I'm game if they are
Cookie: Me want to stay
Rowlf: I'm cool.
Beth: All...
You're off to a great start! Rowlf is my favorite character so I alway love seeing him get a little fan fic love. I love all the details you have written - I can picture everything unfolding quite well. Keep going!
I'm embarassed that my movie viewing was rather limited - but I loved The Muppets (duh) and I really, really loved Bridesmaids. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. I saw Tintin and Young Adult this week, both were just ok in my book.
