Do you have any information about ways in which we can fight this, make noise, contact higher-ups, and do something? I'd like to make some noise. Thanks for posting this development, and you're right, it went right under the radar.
 :concern:  :concern:
I love hats on anyone, and FISH has quite a collection of very cool ones which he does wear. The backward-baseball cap thing was an irritant to me because the guys were so much more attractive either with it facing forward or with other sorts of hats, or no hats. It was an unfortunate style...
I forgot about Nancy Drew, God, they were great. I did the same thing, natural progression from N.D. to Aggie I think, especially for early/avid readers.
It was understood in the industry at point of LOTR pre-production that the films are essentially one story, and would be nominated for Best Film at the end, which makes perfect sense. I think it'll win. There's some (not tons of) good acting competition this year so I think the acting noms...
I just saw the term used in The New York Post this morning, in a non-straight-guy context/reference.
I've known tons of straight guys who are stylish, spiffy, fit the metrosexual definition. Interesting. Oh, well, doesn't matter. Beats backward baseball caps etc., it's nice when people dress...
MJ is celebrity privilege run amok.
And, whether or not he is guilty, he is supposed to conduct himself with due respect to due process and the court, exactly as any of us would be required to.
At his arraignment he was giving a great big public middle finger to the world and the world...
I stupidly watched the original Psycho one night while living alone and had read the original book around the same time. I was 18 and had to shower at a neighbor's for weeks afterward with people in the house, (not in the shower), I could not shower home alone for a long time.
 :eek...
My identical cousin Zoot qualifies in many ways, though he thinks the Sopranos are all idiots, prefers GQ to Maxim, and doesn't spend on clothes the way he used to because he can't get work. He still dresses sharp though.
FISH is well-acquainted with my colorful life, he finds it very entertaining. He's Mr. Clean, and I'm (was) (was?) the delinquent. It all worked out well.
I did a lot of stuff just to see if I could, or on dares. Close your ears, young'uns. Got my first head injury that way, as a matter...
I once went successfully disguised as a guy to a strip joint just to see if I could.
Guess that doesn't quite fit. But I did pick up an issue of GQ on the way.
Thank you for clearing things up, Mumford.
O.K., I don't know what it's SUPPOSED to mean, but I do know what the grammatical breakdown of the word would be and I think my skin is crawling.
Metro is from the Greek for mother, metropolitan is from the Greek for motherpolice, to mothercity, to capital or governing province. Yuck, I'm...
I just read this thread start-to-finish, what a good discussion and good valid points made all around.
I only want to say one thing, regarding the points about some being unable to do/replicate even if knowing all the secrets, that's absolutely true in my case. For fishnwolfeproductions I...
Did you read The Hobbit first? I'm not a purist, just wondering. I read them in order when I was a kid, now I re-read them any old way but I'm glad I read The Hobbit before the others.
What is your major? Or, if no major, what are you studying?
Johnny Tremain, wow, I'll have to read...
