Never go by what other people say. You yourself are the review. Make your own opinion. That's what I say.
I must admit, I wasn't keen on the idea of seeing another Indy movie. It's been too long since the last movie and I thought all were going to keep the franchise to a three picture trilogy...
I'll share my cartoon memories.
I remember getting up in the 80's and early 90's on saturday mornings to watch cartoons.
I remember specifically turning to my local abc affiliate station to watch shows like "The New Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh", "The Real Ghostbusters", "The Wizard Of...
Louie Anderson? Whoa! Hold on a tick there. Anderson creeps me out with that weird voice and those buggy eyes. But tis it's my opinion.
Agreed with everyone that Jimmy Fallon isn't funny. He was never funny on SNL and I thought he tried to hard.
Anybody seen this?
I actually found this on youtube.
You can tell Bill Barretta is doing the voice of Mahna Mahna, and of course Rowlf and Dr. Teeth.
Kermit, Janice, Swedish Chef, and Rizzo also appear, although Rizzo doesn't say anything while the other three do say something...
They were probably fishing more than likely.
It can go something like this..............
Several Muppets are fishing at a nearby lake
Scooter: You know what guys, I'm glad Kermit told us to come here. This is peaceful.
Rowlf is scratching himself
Rowlf: It would be peaceful if...
In the movie, there are only a handful of muppets that rescue Gonzo and Rizzo. That being Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Animal, and Pepe, although Honeydew and Beaker did join the rescue but ended up being left behind at a gas station.
My question is, where are the other muppets?
In The Great...
I hate internet lingo. I have no idea what half of those abbreviations mean. Can't people just type a full sentence with the words? Is it that hard?...........
It's a new video game coming out. All four ghostbuster actors have signed up, along with Rick Moranis and Annie Potts. Sigourney Weaver declined to do it.
I believe the game is going to be a character point of view through the events of the first movie.
Anyway, back on...
I think I'll wait and see where this little venture of writing goes to. They could write a muppet movie and the Disney execs might not like it. Then they'll go to the drawing board again.
Or they could create a muppet movie that turns out to be a stinker.
I'm watching "I Love Lucy" because I love this show! Over 50 years old and the show is still funny. I'm watching the episode where Lucy gets a maid because Lucy needs more help with taking care of the apartment and new baby she just had.
I used to watch that show saturday mornings on ABC in the early 90's. That and The Real Ghostbusters.
I did see that the new movie is supposed to be comedy with Will Farrel as the lead role.
Could be as bad as that stupid Tranformers movie I finally saw last week for the first time.
The commercial itself is trying to tell people to eat better than eating hamburgers and pizza all the time. Eat some green beans, corn, etc.
But it would be more realistic to show your so called normal people in a fast food commercial than a skinny person who may not even eat there...
Okay here's some major news. The 80's cartoon G.I. Joe is being made into a live action film and so is the 70's live action show Land Of The Lost.
Both are going to come out in 2009 to a theater, who overcharges for a ticket and snacks, near you.
Looks like Hollywood land is running out...
I think todays standards are a lot different than they were 30 years ago or more. No one in the 50's, 60's, or 70's talked about people and their weight, what they should weight, how they should look, etc.
However things have changed.
Back then you did not have a lot of fast food places...
Although I hate to mention him, take a look at Elmo. He appeared in a lot of sketches as a whatever monster in the background. but it wasn't until a man named Kevin Clash took over for the character and started to use the character. The character caught on like a burning fire and surprise, Elmo...
