Muppets Tonight is pretty good. The newer muppets, like Pepe, Johnny, Sal, etc. are all brightly colored, which I liked.
I think the biggest complaint I have on the show is the introdudction on too many new characters while the older characters get shafted.
Example, in the first episode...
Even though Floyd was the one in the band that talked to Kermit and the others the most, it would be kind of weird, since he seemed to be more in the spotlight more so than the rest of the band, for the band to be called Floyd and the Electric Mayhem.
Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem seems...
You know Hollywood will be making one sooner or later............
All I know is, if Hollywood did, all the people over on imdb.com would complain about why the movie is being made. I would too.:sympathy:
What are your main six muppets.
For the longest time when Jim Henson was around, I always thought the main six muppets were Kermit, Piggy, Rowlf, Fozzie, Scooter, and Gonzo. I still consider them the main six, in my opinion. (Not including the Electric Mayhem, of course.)
But in recent...
Not Steve and Eric. Eric has the voices down that Frank Oz used to do. I'm sold on his Piggy, Fozzie, Animal, and Sam.
I'm talking about whoever does the voices for Rowlf, Scooter, Dr. Teeth, Janice, etc. They just sound off, whether you're watching the christmas movie that came out back in...
Yes, then I thought "who was the person who thought this brilliant idea up".
The preview looks horrible to boot, with Alvin eating some poop. What in the world?.........
Wouldn't it be easier to find performers that could match up to the voices of characters from performers that have since passed away or moved on.
For instance, wouldn't it be easier if the Henson company could find a performer or several performers who could match the voice of Jim Henson's...
I remember Karen Prell popping in. I responded to one of her threads. But that was a very long time ago.
I also remember someone going by "secret squirrel". Don't know who that was thought but they clearly worked for the Henson company and knew things about what was going on.
I never really did see Janice and Dr. Teeth talking to one another during TMS or the movies.
Both, and Zoot, seemed to interact the least with Kermit and the rest of the gang for some reason. Although in the Brooke Shields episode Dr. Teeth was backstage with Floyd, Fozzie, and Gonzo singing...
Gonzo in "MFS".
The man was freaking out when he learned his brain was going to be sucked out. Usually he probably would have said something like "really, that's so cool!"
I kept on laughing at Zoot trying to figure out if the Electric Mayhem was with the pirates or Kermit. Clearly Floyd knows never to play favorites, as the side he and the rest of the band might have backed up could have lost.
Too bad the band didn't have more to do except play music.
The Electric Mayhem should sing "Babe" by Styx.
It would be easy to have Floyd sing the song to Janice, but nah. Let's go with something more interesting.
Zoot can sing the song, while Janice, Floyd, Lips, Dr. Teeth, and Animal back him up.
Maybe Zoot can have his saxaphone on a...
Thanks Beau.
Didn't I hear that there are less people who graduated college compared to the U.S.?
If I had the money, one of the places I'd travel to is England.
