I don't think its right he doesn't take off any points for the nose at all seeing as he accepts their substitute yet takes off a point for the eyes - which is slightly less of a big deal and somewhat fixable. Thats what i meant about kinda ignoring it (pointswise i mean) - all the negatives are...
I think i would as well - the cartoony look just doesn't suit them in Polystone. Even if it would have looked similar to Palisades, i think the classic look would still probably sell better for them than this ever will.
More and more i think about it - this is a big missed opportunity not to...
It seems like its a one shot, but then i can't see them choosing Pa over Junior (so i guess he may be a secret figure) although i'd guess a second wave could be possible with Fraggle variants and an all new Gorg.
I'm looking forward to next years already, and yeah it'd be cool to be like the Oscars (especially with steves effects) and if they can be set up as blind polls on the forum where people dont know the vote counts till it closes it should keep any campaigning nastyness to a minimum.
Exactly. So for that reason i would guess this must be the final sculpt right? They're not like action figures assembled in small parts so to change anything other than paint they'd have to resculpt the lot. Or is it possible for them to change? I would have thought they are final...
Yeah i figured it was just a proto, thats why i asked if it was just a bad day for him. Looks like it could do with a wash.
Terry takes beautiful photos of these!
I think thats best way Ryan, good idea. Maybe slim down the categories and if they are done on the forum - loads more people will vote i think. Good work on the awards show
I'm planning to buy two of the bear but he does seem to have changed from Terrys pictures, the face is a different shape and the fur looks very different. Maybe Travis can explain whether he was just having a bad hair day.
I agree on the figures, some of them (Dr Teeth, Animal) are a bit...
I think its innacurate in places for two reasons - firstly the reviewer more or less ignores the nose "just because" Terry's proto didn't have it and Master Replicas didn't have much choice. He should be reviewing the final product "as is" without making excuses for them or basing his review on...
You know what would make a great show one week (unrelated to the awards) - like a round table thing. Have some of the more knowledgable people on who've followed Henson and Muppets over the years and do like a discussion on the state of the Muppets/Henson world. I think Phil would be great...
I think it oughta be voted for at MC seeing as its the MC awards, but i think the first people should hear of the winners should be on the Muppetcast ceremony - with a simple list of winners put on MC after. It'd be cool if more of the award winners could be included on the Muppetcast broadcast...
The site was updated just before the awards finished on MC. You probably had the site in your cache and should refresh if you can't see the update yet.
Course it isn't fixed, Count and Prawnie are Muppet fans and i'd like to think its not in the spirit of Jim for anyone to suspect that of one of "our own", though Snowth was obviously just joking. This was just a case that the only people who bothered to vote were just one group of friends...
do you have any ebay feedback or pictures of them? Are they loose or MOC? I might get some but i just like knowing i'm dealing with a genuine source (no offenense).
As far as i know they get cut up in the factory so they can seperate him into parts they can copy and assemble back together.
NO DISSASEMBLE JOHNNY 5 !

The difference is even with Kermits collar and Animals eyes, they still look very close. Master Replicas Gonzo, in all honesty, doesn't have that character that the real Gonzo does - although from further away and at a side angle he can pass for him, and the eyes are a huge improvement. The...
I don't think technically you can win a lifetime achievement award twice. Unless you got two lives ... maybe Phil is Muppet webmaster by day, SuperPhil by night!
....... and yes, those certificates are beautiful.
:super: :super: :super:
You know Count, next year we'll have to give an award for the most talented person at giving awards out to themselves. You cleaned up man .. much deserved, well done!
(although now you've gotta count em all, lol)
The Tomy ones were like that, arms at sides, moveable but not that moveable - and the tool belt looked the same. Except they were plastic and smaller. This looks ok to me - i hope you can pose the arms properly though. I thought these would look cheap but it looks solid and not vinyley at...
