I am so with you there - with the eyes sorted, the nose color changed, and the right suit color it actually looks like how Gonzo should .... even with the sock nose. I would actually be tempted to buy that.
I won't be purchasing Gonzo. Fozzie is an easy sell to me though. I truly believe Gonzo is a Muppet that needs to have the foam nose (or at the very least something solid, as you say) to look anywhere near like a Gonzo "replica". To be honest, i don't like the overall look anyway, the...
I'm sure better things are to come. I don't have a problem with Diz owning the Muppets, i'd prefer the Hensons but obviously that ships sailed. I like the idea of the graphic novel but i think it'd probably be better for them to have some kind of TV show, TV movie, regular appearances or at...
Hi Travis,
Congratulations on your new baby, very exciting! Also nice to see you take the time and effort to interact directly with the collectors.
Just really a quick question about how far along Fozzie is, and what kinda RRP you expect him to come out at?
Also wanted to ask if the...
I consider them more American than British even, although there is the "special relationship" but we're not your poodles .... penguins, maybe.
I think the main reason Henson prefer to shoot most Muppety things in the UK (Or Canada as a second choice) is that we are sooooooooo much better at...
So you just need a video IPOD to download and play these right? I will get one now, just had a normal MP4 player before. Are the screens still tiny or have they got bigger yet?
VERY EXCITED!
He was always marketing manager, that meant he was in charge of promoting these things and it made sense he came on and gave updates before. I'm not sure if thats still his job or whether he switched to another area as has been suggested.
It's dissapointing that the customers are feeling out...
Please god they don't mess up that Fozzie at the factory, i want it so much .... and that isn't usually like me.
Surely there's not much that can go wrong
Quite a milestone, Happy Birthday MC! I think i've been here the entire time aside the first few initial months. One of the things i miss from the old site/forum was the closer community (especially through chat) and the users contributing more to the site, but i also love the newer site...
I don't think they will stop making cd's for a while, probably not until video and music on demand is truly available and used by everyone as people without a computer need access to stuff. As for blu-ray, its not as big a transistion as regular dvds are backwards compatible - if they weren't...
Dwayne, get well soon man!
All this religious stuff going on at the forum these days, has anybody tried praying for the Muppets? They're in great need, so please guys, say one for the Muppets!
(and a theatrical deal for Fraggle, and that elusive Mokey plush)
:halo:
Good idea. I think people should be doing something to maintain them. It's not the same as a plush toy and at this money people want them to last a long time. A monthly maintenance routine would probably pay off in the long run.
As for the Fozzie prototype, its near enough perfect for me!
I really don't think its good business practice, even if they don't do it usually anyway, seeing as they know there is concern you'd think if they cared about their customers they'd go out of their way to provide photos to those who pre-ordered to make sure they knew what they were getting...
I think this is an interesting point so wanted to highlight it, just how are people planning to preserve these? I would have thought the ultimate best case scenario would be to take them out of the packaging and re-package them in a large airtight plastic container and keep out of sunlight...
Yeah i have to say i'm so suprised to see them still concentrating on Cars in stores after all this time, and the emphasis on Pirates and Power Rangers too is surprising, i'd expect something but they have major displays for them. There have even been Disney movies since then that haven't had...
