The Beetles: Did someone say it's their birthday?
"You say it's your birthday- well, it's my birthday too now. You say it's your birthday- well, we're gonna have a good time. I'm glad it's your birthday, 'cause it's my birthday too! Yes, we're going to a party, party - yes, we're going to a...
Awesome! It would be great to find some aimed at nostalgia loving adults as well. I like that they just had a plain old smiling Kermit face on front and the classic "The Muppet Show" logo on the back. Cool! Simple is good, as someone once said.:)
Well, yay for reviving an old thread, but since I just saw this- I'll go ahead and add my congratulations to Phil, Cindy and the family! Hope everything is going well with all. God bless.:)
The only song I really know by The White Stripes is their song from the "Napoleon Dynamite" soundtrack and I do like that one pretty well. - "I Think We're Gonna Be Friends"- I think that is the name of it. Too bad to hear of their breakup, but then again, I can't say I was really a fan though.
Well, yeah- can't really help that. I'm about the same age, but maybe I just saw it in reruns or something. Oh well- still cool to discover great cartoons again later on.:)
Currently reading "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan, which is actually a really great followup book to "The Ragamuffin Gospel" by Brennan Manning, which I just finished before this one.
"The Ragamuffin Gospel" reminds me of how much God loves me and that it is more amazing than I can ever...
Wow- I'm kinda surprised you didn't see this one as a kid, Dr.Tooth - I grew up watching Bravestarr as a child. But then, there are a number of other '80s cartoons I somehow missed as well when I was a kid and have only later discovered on the Internet in recent years. But definitely- it's a...
If the lecturer is a blue headed, white-bearded guy, that's probably Professor Hastings- and he was infamous for incredibly, long and boring speeches- so much so that he put himself to sleep. That was the joke initially, but then the writers realized that the character himself was pretty boring...
I would definitely be studying writing of all kinds under Mokey.
(And perfecting cannonballs with Red- haha.:excited:)
But I'd love to go exploring with Gobo:smirk:
and get all hypochondriac like Boober.
So basically my best answer is that I'd be wembling with Wembley.:coy:
Oh, Jesus dealt with politics. Matthew 22:15-22 is probably the most famous incident.
Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and give to God what is God's.
But yeah- Jesus is above politics. He didn't come to start a political regime. He didn't come to transform the Roman government. He came to...
Awesome! I love Christmas! And I stay in a Christmas mindset pretty much all year long.:)
("So keep Christmas with you all through the year, when Christmas is over- you can keep it near...")
I'm pretty sure those two albums are definitely different songs though.
I also have the "Best Of" Bravestarr DVD set (one of these days I might buy the whole series- I just don't want to spend the money on it right now). And yes- Bravestarr rules! This was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid- and yes, Bravestarr definitely got serious messages across and always...
Great drawing- nice fit to Creedence Clearwater Revival's classic.
Fraggle Rock is always great- the drawing was definitely well in character.:coy::excited:
All three are awesome! Good job, ilovemusic.:)
The Electric Mayhem looks great in both pictures and the Snowths and Mahna Mahna was hilarious.
I particularly like the second drawing of the band with the bus- that was neat to have them at an angle like that and I really appreciated seeing Lips...
