Basically I would just sign up to all the online Muppet mailing lists you can. And keep checking back on top news stories...so yeah, we're discussing Muppetfest 2003, but just wait til it is officially announced, as OH BOY! Then you'll really see the threads and posts rack up!
Well ordinarily for future reference, its good not to single out anyone in the MC community with a thread if its in a not so beaming manner...those disputes should be settled through other means(Phil used to settle old disputes back in the old days, not sure how one would go about doing that...
>>>Sometimes it does seem that the non-conformists are all alike! LOL! It also seems that the ones judging them are too, but who are we to judge the minds and hearts of others?<<<
Well sf is different tho, way different than most of California and the US...I mean the thrift sotres really are...
Well, itll be interesting to know whats planned for the new season of Bear when it hits disney this fall. Im curious if any if at all new format changes were made. Sadly, Im guess theres still gonna be no real life location scenes, and the same ol intro and outro, which makes the *actual* Bear...
>>>The movie itself wasn't too good, well, not good at all, but a few of the characters sparked a giggle or laugh on occasion<<<
I still wanna see it, but ever since I saw footage of it last year, I was less than enthusiastic about it. I still wanna see it, just so I can have a new...
>>>I just don’t get all Holden Caulfield on it. Live and let be - there's no need to judge others for the clothing they wear and it's presumptuous to assume an individual's motives. We really don't know<<<
Nice Salinger reference there...well Jamie, sometimes a misantrhopic view of things is...
No, the footag epeople on MC were up in arms about from MFC was how Columbia cut a few scenes out of the vhs and dvd versions, because they claim JHC no longer had the rights to some of the songs. sounds pretty lame to me.
All this talk of Japanese Sesame Street stuff on various threads leads me to ask: Where the heck can I order some of this stuff online? From the sony wonder Sesame stuff to the Kubricks and other stuff...man! I think more than a few of us would be interested to learn where one can order some of...
>>>Isn't there a Sony Store at the Metreon? I try not to hang out there too much but if there is Muppet stuff then I'm all for it<<<
Well the whole Metreon is a Sony store(why its Sony Metreon) Hey, you really are from SF! I wish I could hang out at the MEtreon, its by far the coolest most...
Hey, thanx for the info on the Scotch and cigar band stuff. Weird to see Muppets on the front of generally adult products!
and yeah, that is a GREAT error page!
>>>I usually go on work-related trips. The company I used to work for went over for about a month every year touring Japan doing shows and now my buddy lives their because he works for a Japanese company and he is getting married so my next trip will probably be for his wedding.

>>>The only people dictating what others should wear or not seem to be on this thread. LOL!<<<
Um, well in real life...it would be corporatations and MTV and magazines dictating what people read. Were talking about a culture we live in where reality shows and American Idol are
the new...
>>>Today i saw the Simpsons mini's and i felt both sets were of a very high detail for 3" and the articulation was designed very well, though i realise the Muppets would need much more in the way of paint app's and cost a bit more - but for $10 (though the shop i was in actually charged tons...
Unless Sbarros or a cereal box or someone has a promotinal KSY thing, I wouldnt hold my breath for figures off the special.
And from what I am hearing, one should be given a medal if ya can sit through the thing.
>>>it seems to me that the real "look" of 2000+ has been the look of self-expression. a real "i don't care what you're into or why you're into it, but you are so i might as well just get over my own pre-conceptions and deal with it like an adult" kind of thing<<<
Um, or more...
For too many years all weve had is a billion Kermit, Animal, Piggy and to some extent Gonzo and Fozzie stuff. Thats why when I finally saw a Rizzo plush I oculdnt believe it. I was laughing when people *Actually* complained of too much Beaker stuff coming out. Just sad for people to say that...
Im mixed on this...while I loved the newer MTM dvd art cover better than the original...and liked the MFS poster...some things, like the fraud Dark Crystal poster just is too cool to replace.
Im one of those few who dislike th eold school broadway vaudville look of old muppet stuff...but...
