Well I have heard that it's actually not unusual for people to purchase decommissioned cabs as collectors items. And I can't believe I actually tried researching this, lol.
You know, it's driven me crazy trying to find them in that scene, lol. Hopefully we'll get lucky one day!
I'd definitely be in the camp where, unless it's something completely outrageous, there's no need for censorship. Young kids aren't looking to see if something looks modern, they just need something well written. Studying the history of our pop culture and society even as far back as the late...
Odd thing...I saw this on google groups once, where someone who claimed to be S Whitmire back in 1996 had this to say about Muppeteer cameos:
"Richard and Jerry are seated inside the El Sleazo at the beginning of the scene. I was standing behing Kermit and Fozzie during the beauty pageant at...
Exactly! Don't talk like that, Sara, you'll be fine, just keep your head up. And note my latest signature; it's been inspiring to me during hard times. It's from the musical Minnie's Boys. It's a rarely seen story of how the Marx Brothers got started. At one point, when things are particularly...
That would be really great! Always keep an eye out for opportunities to prove yourself. :)
Totally, I mean in the beginning you have to deal with a lot of slower jobs in order to get the experience and credentials, it's all valuable. Actually, lol, even though Richard obviously didn't enjoy...
I'm kinda of a retro person and probably would recognize a lot of the guests this seasons, lol. It was the first season guests that occasionally threw me, but that makes sense. I honestly can't think of too many current stars I'd want to see with them now. But that's just me. :)
Glad the internship went allright, I'm sure you'll get into a routine soon. ;)
Hehe, I thought this was kinda cute:

In the record version, the one that Scooter narrates, we don't hear of the Gonzo/Minister switch, but Scooter grandly ends the story with "Miss Piggy's fondest dreams came true! Not only was she a Broadway star, but a Broadway bride as well. In the show's grand finale, she and her beloved frog...
I would like to have seen at least one more episode with the Cave Fraggles from "Fraggle Wars", it would have been interesting to see if being exposed to the Rock Fraggles caused any "damage" to their society, lol. (Whoopie!)
My DVD player does that automatically too, so I think that's a player issue. Interestingly, it only happens with some DVDs I have, but not others. And nearly all my Muppet ones, lol. ::shrugs::
Exactly! That's why the jokes can't just be Kermit making fun of Piggy. There has to be the undercurrent that we know Kermit really wants her too. :)
And I love how apparently the rest of the group was willing to go along with replacing Gonzo with the Minister. Granted, Piggy might have...
Thanks! And I was thinking of that Goldie Hawn moment too. Something like:
Kermit: When a girl kissing a frog on the lips, the frog's likely to turn into a prince!
Goldie: Oh Kermit, now, that's just a fairy tale!
Kermit: (mumbling) I like myself the way I am...
Goldie: And besides it...
I do think that's true, but the thing is, the Internet makes it ten times easier for the weirdos to cause trouble. And once you give out any sort of information on the web, you can't take it back. So it's not a question of not trusting anyone. It's knowing that things are a bit more vulnerable...
RIP, Harvey! We are losing a lot of the old guard obviously and they're not always being replaced with performers of the highest caliber. I pray that we as a society continue to respect talent when we see it. ;)
I think it was fine for them to make a video helping kids to cope with the absence of a parent. But in the case of this particular conflict, I would not get into talking about the actual war in such a video. If it were a different conflict, I might feel differently.
In this case, I would only...
