Yeah see, but again, we've seen all of that in other shows that we do like. I think people have this block in their heads about liking Spongebob, just because it's Spongebob. Of course I could be wrong...but I'm happy!
Well, the world isn't perfect. :halo:
And I'm sorry, I love...
Haha!
Well just off the top of my head, (and I know this isn't a movie, but it's got the same feeling), in Muppets in Walt Disney World, the Electric Mayhem thinks they've seen Kermit and Dr. Teeth says, "I hope so, I miss his little flippery presence!" Then they see Kermit and Piggy on stage...
See from my perspective, Spongebob is like Puff n Stuff from the '70s. A kids show that was just risque enough for older people to identify with. Not just anyone could write the typical Spongebob script.
Hmm, I really enjoy the English version of Yu Gi Oh! but I do think the original Japanese...
Though still, it's a mass of contradictions. I didn't enjoy the more modern Muppet productions that were made before Disney came into the picture. So I'm very grateful that Fraggle Rock is being handled so well.
But anyway, I was thinking more about that Pearl Bailey episode. We get to see...
The only critique I will give Labyrinth is that the story isn't explained quite enough. It's not clear initially why Sarah is so messed up and her journey is not fully explained. Mainly because she has no one to bounce off of at the beginning of the story. We sort of get hints that she has a...
I totally agree, I think Season 3 is really where the show started to find its footing and become the Muppet Show we know today (though the first two seasons were still good).
Though, I'm still debating buying the actual DVD, but that's another issue. Glad everyone likes it!
Actually I think Fraggle Rock was often pretty dark and often went places you wouldn't expect. It didn't just mildy say racism is pointless. Every other show does that. (We probably agree on this, just wording things differently. ;) )
I personally hope the Fraggles are able to show the...
Yes I completely agree, that's one of their best episodes! Did you notice Scooter at the end thanking his Uncle JP and also claiming to pay all the instruments? Also a quick exchange with Beau, lol.
I think it does show that all his earlier Uncle talk was just a way to infiltrate himself into...
This is purely my own opinion, but while I've always thought Dark Crystal was extremely impressive in its puppetry and special effects, the pacing of the story was too slow. I'm not able to watch it.
Labyrinth on the other hand had a tighter story and that's more of what I'm looking for and...
I think that's true of everyone. We all have our faults and we struggle with them all our lives. Everything I have ever learned says it's not what happens to you in life, it's how you deal with it. You will mess up, often. It's how you learn. What matters is if you pick yourself up and start...
More behind the scenes, Of Muppets and Men, 60 Minutes, Muppets Go the Movies, Muppets Go to Disney World, Muppets Go to Hollywood. They deserve to see the light of day after all this time! :)
Glad you enjoyed, I love that episode! Especially when Bunsen says Gilda is going to be his guinea pig and Beaker giggles in the background. Finally someone else has to face the sadistic insanity that is Bunsen!
Any other reports on Season 3?
Lol yeah I love how he's able to go from this calm reasonable person to an outright loud lunatic (though he IS talking with Cookie Monster...wouldn't you? Hehe)
Yeah pretty much. It's off topic, but I want to be positive that Muppets Show Season 3 is worth it, the bonus features don't sound like they went far enough (though I do sound spoiled, I should realize that lol)
