Weinstein rolls with Fraggle Rock movie

I absolutley agree, this idea of having to make movies more "modern" is a big myth. The Marx Brothers films are 80 years old and still enormously popular. What matters is whether you have a decent script, that is still what people want to see. :)

Any Museums Dedicated to the Muppets?

There's the Paley Center for Media (formerly The Museum of TV and Radio) in Los Angeles, it has a ton of Muppet appearances on TV through the years.

    The RHLC!

Well it's weird, Tolkein did say his story wasn't an allegory of anything too specific like WWII, which it was compared to a lot. But he did intend for there to be Christian parallels even in the '50s when the books came out. They're not immediately obvious, it's more you have to analyze it. For...

    YouTube law fight 'threatens net'

So it's more of a struggle to enjoy true quality entertainment. I'd rather have it be a character building struggle, than something easy that I take for granted. ;)

Should there be a Sesame Street Channel?

Well the only thing I disagree with here is just because your kid isn't interested in something initially, doesn't mean you should indulge them and take it away every time. When I was a kid I didn't enjoy everything right on sight. Sometimes I had to get used to it and grow to like it. After...

    YouTube law fight 'threatens net'

I do understand the company's position, but they really should start utilizing the Internet more than they have been. I mean, that's where the technology (and the audience) is going, period. Just wanted to mention though, I've been told that in some countries such as Russia, citizens can...

    The Muppets and YouTube.com

I saw I Love Liberty at the TV Museum once, it's awesome! It's so great that there are still classic Muppet moments to be found that aren't often seen. The special in its entirety is great, patriotic but not too pretentious. Judd Hirsch has a great monologue as an immigrant. I doubt...

    July 4th

I'm watching the movie 1776, such a great film! It manages to be informative and funny at the same time! "We've spawned a new race here, Mr. Dikinson. Rougher, simpler; more violent, more enterprising; less refined. We're a new nationality. We require a new nation." :) And an even better...

"And just has Tom here has written, though the shell may belong to Great Britain, the Eagle inside belongs to us!" :attitude: ;) Not to get too patriotic here, hehe, but just wanted to say it's nice to remember how the early Americans helped set such a precedent in the world. As Englishman...

Needed: Unedited The Muppets on Puppets

It's so odd because I watched Muppets on Puppets at The Museum of TV and Radio (now The Paley Center for Media) and as far as I can recall, I didn't have any problems. Maybe they were given a better copy.

Do you mean when Big Bird says "Sesame Street has been brought to you today by the letters W and B?" I know Warner Brothers helped produce the film. Correct me if that's not what you're referring to. :)

Should there be a Sesame Street Channel?

Right, the studies are saying that TV before 3 is basically useless and could be harmful. One expert actually said having a 1 or 2 year old watch American Idol is better than Baby Einstein because it's less flashy stimulation. Obviously we did watch TV when we were 1 or 2 and we didn't all go...

    The RHLC!

Thanks! Yeah it was a wonderful vacation, and I hope I can continue to relax now that it's over. :) That's cool! I haven't read the book yet (::shame::), but they're great obviously. Have you ever tried reading The Lord of the Rings? It also has a lot of Christian symbolism. Its author...

Hmm...now I'm thinking about this, lol. I might have enjoyed the Animal handler scene more, since at least he would have gotten the chance to be a little annoyed in a funny way when complaining about his lack of scenes. Though of course it's very cute seeing Scooter with the bubble wand during...
