Rowlf and the band are going to be neglected until someone like Dave or Steve address that problem with the writers and tell them to put those characters back in the forefront with all sorts of lines and a few songs.
Lenord Nimoy is supposed to come back as Spock for a second, I heard.
Oh and, the movie takes place in an alternate timeline/universe. Maybe that's why we see a younh Jimmy Kirk driving a car. But they're not supposed to have cars in the 23rd century!....
Neither do I, but it's happening. If Abrams wanted to do a Trek movie set in the past, do something with a new crew. The late 23 century/early 24th century has yet to be touched on.
I think Paramount is trying to get something familar with the fans because everyone knows Kirk and Spock and...
Jacobson does 2 big characters, Piggy and Fozzie, and 2 spares, Animal and Sam the eagle. Not saying Animal and Sam are duds, but Sam was more of a secondary character and Animal, well is Animal.
If Bill just had two big characters, he could do it. But he doesn't and the mroe he uses Pepe as...
Most movies are big budget/all special effects and very little story telling mess of movies now a days. Remember Transformers? I bet G.I. Joe is going to be the same thing too.
Speaking of the Looney Tunes shows, Bommerrang was showing a marathon of Looney Tune cartoons thursday for new years.
The one where the guy discovers Michigan J Frog and tries to use him to get rich was funny/yet sad at the same time, because at the end, the guy was homeless after using all...
Looks like crap if you ask me Beau. Looks like a big budget all thrills and spills special effects hoopla with little story telling. And this is the first time I ever saw a trek trailer where I did not want to see the movie. And the movie doesn't even come out until May.
Dark Knight was 30 minutes to long for me. I'm getting tried of seeing Hollywood do every single comic book adaption now, just because they struck gold with X-Men and Spiderman and started doing every single comic book ever made now. And yes I know Hollywood did Batman and Superman back way...
Well you're not going to see Rowlf in the spotlight as long as Bill keeps on having Pepe his #1 character. Bill just has too much to juggle. Pepe, Bobo, Johnny Fiamma, and then Henson's old characters of Rowlf, Dr. Teeth, and Sweish Chef.
Quite honestly I would feel better if another else...
Give me the boarding house. I see more craziness happenign with everyone living together under one roof. You can't really have that when the muppets live in the same apartment building but in different apartments and doing their own thing in their own home.
Well speaking of kids, here's something that might be odd.
A couple in Arkansas had their 18th child a few days ago and wants more! They really want more kids?
Jerry has retired from doing the muppets, although I think he still does Count on Sesame Street.
Robin was performed by someone else, perhaps David Rudman maybe?
I know! When everyone was out in the hallway when Piggy came out, Floyd should have made a joke about the Pig. That would have been the perfect time to make fun of her.
I think the problem over all is that there isn't enough time to do that much with about 43-45 minutes worth of screen time. Had this been a 2 hour special, then I would have expected the special to be better with more characters doing what not and such.
I liked that Gonzo felt he was...
