Sam
I was determined to put off purchasing Sam until his regular figure came out, but looking at the Blister shots, it's going to be very hard to skip this... especially since I collected Pirate Playmobil as a kid - I could probably dig out the ship from the basement.... :)
Oh, so the point...

Not to re-hash the endless Disney pro/con debate, but here is an interesting (I hope) perspective on the same old argument:
Funny thing is, I never used to see Disney as evil up until a couple years ago when this drama started...
Suddenly, I was faced with comparing Disney and Henson one...
I finally found another Zoot at Sam Goody today and picked it up to get for a friend... I was totally startled to find that his head looked awesome!
My original Zoot has his magnet implant raised up a couple millimeters from the rest of his head, making him look somewhat like a muppet...
Backstage.
Theatre: No, because in reality, it'd just be a big empty stage... boring.
Vets Hospital: would have more "playability" but the backstage has more familiarity to it...
Hispanola: Would a disappointment no matter what. They couldn't make a ship big enough for these...
It was! They sang "Danny Boy" if I remember correctly... The concept was taken a little too far in the Muppets Inside game in which various combinations of the three sang songs for the finale of the Name-That-Song games.
Saturday Night Live later did a similar joke with Holiday songs by...
I think that they don't get a say sometimes. I remember the Floyd moustache/hair difference being a Henson decision - am I remembering this correctly?
Who knows, I could be way off... accusing poor innocent companies of poor color choices... :sing:

Palisades/Henson Coloring
Awesome!
I'm worried by this statement: "Note that the colors on the nose are being revisited" -- they're the closest yet! Don't let Henson tell you it's blue!
Does anyone else besides me feel that Henson themselves are the reason for some of the very few...
Well, that answers the question... guess I've been living in such a Palisades-centered universe lately, I just assume they invented the wheel too...

Does anyone know about these stickers?
Their card design looks just like the Palisades cards for their Action Figures (series 4 and beyond)...

Ouch.... I hadn't realized that had happened!
That does not sound promising for the future of Palisades Muppets... :(
Seems like the Muppet Products have finally gotten off the ground recently... would be a big shame to see them get sucked into the Disney Machine.
Maybe I will buy tux...
Admittedly this should be the least of my fears about Disney taking over JHC, but I am curious if anyone else has any theories on this. I assume Ken would have to stay mum on this but the question is:
What will happen with the Palisades line if Disney buys the JHC and/or Muppets? :confused...
Janice's Hat
Thanks for the input on the cables, everybody. In truth, I think having no cables is indeed the best plan.
One more question about Janice... Since her hair will be a separate piece of softer plastic, will it be able to cover up the "lobotomy scar" (as Ken put it) on her head...
Wires, Cables, and Whatnot
Ken,
Just a quick suggestion. I've had the cables break off both my Beaker-table and Floyd-Amp. The reason for both of these is that the leverage caused by actually moving the object on the other end of the line (Guitar, Beaker's Head, etc.) was too much...
I have to admit that it's really hard for me to form an opinion on this because there is so little info. I mean any thing could happen with this, as is shown by everyone's posts.
Everything from:
Disney decides to dump money into the Muppets and push them forward into the mainstream...
Thank you!
I've been waiting for a good deal on these, and this is the best I've seen - free shipping too! That's $7.99 per DVD! Crazy! Cool!
Thanks again!

Pixar
Anyone want to take a minute to clarify Pixar's exact deal with Disney for some of us?
It seems to me that over the last few years Pixar has been making the best stuff to have "Disney" stamped on it.
However, I do remember reading stories about development of the original Toy...
