To be fair, they weren't always singing in the show. I don't think he means just have em sing one or twice. I think he means more that he doesn't want them just bursting into song all over the place for no reason like some musical. Sounds like he wants specific plot points in the movie where...

I've seen that before, its kinda small tho. I have actually seen a custom made lifesize ALF puppet, one-off - from Germany i think. This was going years back - it was ok, bit too fat. I had pictures of it somewhere, not sure if i still have them.

Other than the inclusion of Whoopi Goldberg, this all looks verrrry promising indeed. Infact perhaps the most promising thing they've done since Disney got them, the puppets and costumes look great - i am really looking forward to it!
