>>>Lord of the Rings is the greatest fantasy film ever made, and it did not get carried away with CG in the slightest. It used it when necessary<<<
The problem I have with LOTR(besides being one of only a few films I have ever seen where the film ends so abruptly, youd think the projectionist...
>>>Do we really need fifteen Pokemon Knockoffs? I can't even stomach the original! I hate it soooo much, I (almost) started a Team Rocket collection because I sympathised with the villains so much! I always wished they kill that Pickachu thing!<<<
Pikachu, as a stand alone little cute mascot...
>>>woo! another DC fan! it's hard to find folks that will admit to reading comics without an "X" in the title (i don't count Exiles...you know, cause it's good) did you read Meltzer's first issue of Green Arrow this month? good stuff!<<<
I for one gave up spandex super power/team comics years...
>>>Beaker the reason DIsney isnt marketing Spirited away is because it isnt a real disney movie and merchandise would sell terribly<<<
The merchandise would only sell poorly if Disney continues to under promote it like they did Princess Mononoke(a great anime film which tanked because Disney...
Well, to shore up a little what you listed...everything from TMS, Bear in the Big Blue House, Sesame, Muppets Tonight,
Fraggle Rock, Animal Show, JHH, Hoobs, Mopatop, etc is all
"Muppets".
Then there is what I would call creature shop that is NOT Muppet related, but JHC related. That...
>>>Okay, if I'm going to do this I need a little info, since it's been a while since I've seen Fraggle Rock. Did Doc and Sprocket actually end up moving, and is there a new hole that the Fraggles can use to go and see him?<<<
Yes, they moved to the upstairs portion of th emysterious Ned...
>>>I met Sweetums. I jumped and hollered "ME!" when they brought out Fozzie Bear at MF for someone to perform him, but I lost out at the throw of a towel.<<<
I still cant believe how unceremoniusly they let some kid in the audience perform Fozzie. Then again, I think most the audience had...
>>>Compaire it with Pixar movies (Monsters Inc, Toy Story, Bugs Life). All were memorable dispite CGI animation. Dinosaur was a brash, wreckless move! Eisner (or someone) said Heck with Pixar, we can make CGI movies without them<<<
Hehe, look slike I missed out on all the boring fun of...
Oh yeah, Im much more a fan of the Japanese edits of DBZ.
But animation wise...well, that's a different story;) DBZ in the last few years has gotten so huge and mainstream it's amazing.
Though, when people say they are into anime sometimes all they mention is say DBZ, the pocket monster type...
What me waffle? Yes, I would now like to state for the record that the Simpsons minis are pretty cheap. Why was I trying to convince Ken to produce WOS mini-esque TMS figureS? oy.
Anyhoo, those Japanese Disney mini figures are AMAZING!!!
Why the heck cant we get that stuff here? Second, I...
I was just cruious like a lot on here how Jerry Nelson is doing. Luke had mentioned he was ill at the time of the small FR gathering not to long ago.

Aw yes, the horrific terrorist acts of November 9th...how could any of us forget?
first off, thanx for the story Smig! See, this is the kind of personal stories I love hearing. Second, on the whole Elmo thing...I think anybody who went to Muppetfest came away with having a newfound respect and love for the little furry fella.
In late 1996 til last year he had been tarnished...
Would you happen to have a discount store(not a dollar store) called "Big Lots" or "Cargo Largo"?
For the last year I have seen a ton of discounted Bear related plush, small plush, and those cool Fisher Price Bear figures.
Good luck finding what ya need...so great to hear of new Muppet...

There is a new theme song? Hmm, I'll have to wait for the dvd or a tape trade.
Read the review Danny. I'd say dont be p'd off at Bear as a whole...just the decision to open the season like that.
that's...
When I first saw T2 and Jurassic Park, both insanely great films IMHO...I was truly blown away by the then state of the art cgi. Since then virtually every film cept Ya Ya Sisterhood uses it to some extent...so it has become a bit ho hum. Even in Episode Two, weve become so accustomed to it...
