There's too many to pick 1 favorite. Most of my favorites occur in their apartment.
1) Ernie is the fastest cleaner. He does anything for some cookies & ice cream!
2) The Rhyming Song/Game
3) Who stole Bert's cookies (was it Ernie or someone who looked like Ernie)
4) Ernie & Bert...
Cool. Maybe that's what it was. Don't pounce on me, but I thought that was a stupid sketch. BTW, what was GSs last appearance on Sesame Street (in a new sketch that is)??
My sister said that Guy Smiley was on this AM on SS (of course) 8/20. It sounded like he was on there during the Journey To Ernie segment. When I turned on SS, all I saw was Ernie singing a song called Imagination. Now I don't know how Mr. Smiley would fit into that song/sketch or if it was just...

The sleeping beauty I think is the older one where the princess turns into a frog. I think it was with Mr. Smiley.
As far as cinderella, I do not know the difference between the 2.
The one I'm thinking of is where Prince Charming is comparing all the feet and finds that Kermit's foot (I...
Anyone remember a skit with Cookie Moster where he was in a bakery asking the baker to buy some cookies ....only he couldn't remember the word buy. He would just say a word sounding like buy. Guy Smiley comes in and Cookie says "Guy" and he chases Guy around the bakery.
Anyone remember this...
WARNING: GROVEL TIME!!
Anyone have any of the following SS Newsflashes?:
1. Rapunzel
2. Sleeping Beauty
3. Cinderella
4. The Pied Piper
5. The 3 Pigs w/ The Count
If not, can someone tell me if they are available commercially?
I'd love to get a copy of some of these - can send...
"There were two "What's My Part" skits, but I've only seen the "nose" one. Is there a chance that in the other one he is introduced as Sonny Friendly?"
I remember that other one too. I think the panelists or one of them at least had the same name. The difference was they were Anything...
What was the first skit that Guy Smiley was featured in?
I have a skit that looked very early that was called "What's My Part?" (a nose) where monsters were on the panel. I think it was from the 1970 premiere show, but I'm not positive. I forgot what the main show focused on. (Maybe shapes??)...
Anyone have any Prince Charming skits that were featured during the Newsflash segments that they can copy for me? I can send blanks.
If not, are there any that are released officially? Say on the Best of Kermit the Frog?
I wasn't in SS land during the Ruth Buzzi years, but from your description in #4 (Gladyis) (sp), I believe that was Ruth Buzzi.
Was she wearing a brown dress with something on her head and a purse?
That is her classic character named Gladys (sp)
She played that character during her...
Now that I'm older and wiser, I do miss Mr. Smiley myself. I used to be scared of him (not the game show host) when he was playing Prince Charming. Must have been the different voice that freaked me out.
Anyways, I do like his gameshows though.
BTW, you can find on Ebay those...
To Janice:
Me too. I was so scared of Guy Smiley as I've posted before in other topics.
Not really when he did game shows per se, but when he was Prince Charming and when he was in the movie theater with Ernie & Bert and says "Do You Mind??
I guess it might have been the change in...
