>>>I'm also sad that Final Fantasy didn't get a nomination. I don't care what anyone says about the story, the work that went into that movie was absolutely amazing and deserves much more credit than it got. <<<
I KNOW! It's heresy! Final Fantasy whether on th ebig screen or beautifully...
Wow...one wonders what wonderment would have worked its wonderful way to us if Muppetville had actually been commissioned. The thought of a Fraggle themed attraction ride area alone would have been to cool.

>>>Actually G-g-g-graily, I picked Cantus Rock because Cantus (my fav. Muppet) + Fraggle Rock (my favorite Muppet show) = Cantus Rock. Also because when something is totally amazing and awesome, it is *whatever thing* ROCK. Like if I was going to tell you that you are an amazingly rockin'...
>>>This proposes a question - can a film be both edgy and kid-friendly? Hmmmm....The Muppet Movie anyone? Kind of edgy for its time.<<<
In 1999 Disney released a G rated film that I believe was one of the best films of the year, called The Stright Story. Directed by astonishingly twisted...
>>>Yeah, I saw the trailer for Finding Nemo, and that looks like it might turn out to be even worse than Ice Age<<<
Ack, dont remind me of Ice Age. Seriously though, it looked like it was animated at a local community college...so bland. However, Sid the Sloth was very very cool. I could...
>>>Everytime I get the latter, All I can think of is those two fat nerds on Doug.<<<
LOL! Yeah, Im sick of using public assess pooters...such is why next weekend Im finally getting a new computer.
>>>>i AM a disney fan, but i won't blindly defend them, because well...they're wrong, and they're screwing it up for the rest of us.
Exactly. I am a HUGE fan as well, since I was little. Who isnt? But Im not a BLIND DEVOUT follower. I may be a bit more blind when it comes to my homeboy JHC...
Being a long time film buff, I can spot softening up, or Disneyfying...yet I saw none of this on Monsters Inc...after pouring over virtually every extra and interview on the 2 disc set.
Monsters Inc stands as my pick for best film of last year...even above Ocean's Eleven, Amelie, Memento...
>>>Trust me - it's not a good idea to go revealing 'secret identities'as Josh around here - that name is enough to send shivers up most of the longtime members spines<<<
As far as I remember of old MC lore, the word "Josh" isnt so much an actual person but a notion.(well an actual person that...
Like I argue in the other Snoop thread, its not Snoop Dogg's past or vulgarity that upsets me, its his lack of timeliness. Why cant they get really outdated stars like Bronson Pinchot and the cast of Full House? ;)
Wow, thanx for all the mopatops info! I seriously cants ee how this got passed up in discussion, articles, or news on MC...especially with all the obscure Muppet cameos! I mean wherelse are frackles regular guests? You wont see old school 60's era Frackles on Bear!
>>>OK this might not be...
>>I think that was about it for ol' Digit...he was probably destroyed in the revolution.<<<
Heresy! Luckily there is a new revolution brewing soon...one where I would presume Digit and company are gonna be back.
The fact is Im protesting Snoop Dogg in the Muppet film because he's so 1994...they should have gotten Busta Rhymes, as he's much more Muppet looking and slightly more relevant.
As for 'moral' rappers vs gansta rap artists. Sure Coolio, Will Smith, LL Cool J are considered 'safe, pg'...
During my lunch break yesterday I went to the Disneystore, and was delighted to see all those NBxmas beans...OOgie Boogie especially! However I was sad to see virtually no Bear stuff anymore(hopefully they'll have new stuff this xmas)
Now here's the funny part. When the worker asked if I was...
>>>I call The Maxx one of the greatest animated series of all time ....<<<
Man MTV was so cool when it came to animation...anybody here remember the glorious "Liquid Television"? Aeon Flux has to be one of my favorite American animes ever.
>>>I never got to see Zim, because I don't have...
LOL! That has to be the funniest thing Ive read all day(dont worry folks, I only know who theyre referring to by name only) Btw, youve seen Orgazmo as well? Your cool points just wnet up(Cannibal the Musical however, has to be one of the most painful viewing experiences since Hitchhiker's Guide...
>>>Because of fans like "Beaker", I can't help but forsee poor Ken eventually taking the same road as other people "in-the-know" and silently fading away to never be heard from again. Stay with us Ken. Please don't punish us all for the actions of "the red-headed step child."<<<
