>>>Well, maybe in Californipa. They do have stuff of sorts in Mass. But basically it's just kid's stuffed Bear dolls and Bean bags. I saw a few CD's, and they have some odd stuff in the catelogue. For one thing there's this bean bag chair shaped like him<<<
Youd think we in California would...
>>>I'm attempting articulation for the first time with the skeksis. Simple articulation, it's all swivel, post-and-hole. <<<
Excellent, as that may very well be the first custom figure 100% from scrath to have limited articulation. But...remember the series 3 prototype pics shown on MC? The...
From the electronic shop people Ive talked to, and other shops that depend 100% on those west coast ports...the real impact could start being felt next week sometime. Already car manufacturer places are having to shut down. I really hope the higer ups who organized this terrorism-like atomic...
Don't worry, this style of forum takes some time to get used to.
I realize I do indeed like the style btter than the old delphi forum as it seems much more crisper and bigger.
Did somebody mentiont he great Fisher Price 1978 Muppet action figures????? ^_^
And oh boy do I wanna order that small Swedish Chef plush...just I have reservations about ordering from overseas. However, it cant be half as long as UPS takes!!!
Veggie Tales, 8 Crazy Nights, and Treasure Island...finally holiday animated features for the Christian, Jewish, and Pagan Pirate kids out there;) I joke, I kid.
>>>What's Channukka?<<<
Wasnt that Han Solo's co pilot? *ba dum dum!* I'll be performing at the Beth B'Nai temple on 5th street...
1) While I find any cameo by a hasbeen rapper like Snoop quite an embarassing snafu on the part of the JHC, I feel that various outspoke groups who wanted Snoop edited out have inadvertently and most likely gotten cut quite a few potentially
great and golden Muppet moments.
2) DO NOT be...
Very sad how due to a few vocal groups Janice' perhaps only speaking role in the film was cut.
>>>Modernizing the characters should be done with caution. I really don't care to see a grunge Floyd or a Zoot with a nose ring. That would only make them seem dated when the movie is watched 5-10...
I think out of all the Muppets, Gonzo is the one quite a few of us can relate to. Almost this tragic Holden Caufield character, he feels isolated from everyone. I probably identify with him the most what with his creativity and inventiveness brimming with hardly anyone who cares...his alienation...
>>>Maybe I'll try to join up with them and head the obscure non show Muppet database section...you know who to contact about that Cor?<<<
The person you'll want to contact about that is Michael from Kermitage.com (look under the "M"s in the member listing and email him)
I hope they extend...
>>>Since even Muppet Central has them in forum sections of their own, I decided to include all characters from the three main franchises: Fraggle Rock, Sesame Street, and the Muppet Show with its derivations, Muppets Tonight and the Jim Henson Hour.<<<
Well, as of 1997 the three main...
Oddly enough this still isnt front page...but Im telling you, if it keeps up any longer it will be soon. What do you think affects Americans more...Bush personal war with Iraq, or the stoppage of nearly 50% of all goods we buy and sell?
>>>First of all, I do not have a DVD player! If I did.....well, I'd be a heck of a lot poorer, with this, the Muppets DVDs, the first and second season of the Simpsons, etc.<<<
I noticed at Walmart the vhs is about $15 or lower...but you can always rent it at Blockbuster...why wait...
1) I SO must have a Igel mini Swedish Chef plush.

2) Tomahawk...so what kin dof cool Muppet swag did ya get for that IGel Beaker eh?
3) Ok, I know I covered this in 1)...but man I so must have a...
>>>It's the British accents that scare US programmers, I think!
<<<
I always wondered that...is that why we dont see the Hoobs and Mopatops here? But we did get UK imports Thomas the Train WITH UK accents, Teletubbies, and of course Bob the builder(not sure if that was redubbed)
My...
>>>The Muppets have been caught in a time warp for a decade and they really need to get out of it or instead of telling the jokes, they will become the joke (i.e. Scooby Doo). And none of us wants that to happen.<<<
The stuck in the time warp I feel comes from the ill concived perception that...
Oh you knew my controversial response was coming...
Wow, a lot of posts in the last 24 hours. See, here's why I could never be a moderator on this type of forum...I couldnt say what Im about to say...
First off...I have to agree with quite a few things Capt Crouton and Patty E have said. It...
>>>I liked the ponytail in the 80s but would it really be that hard to get a pair of scissors and snip it off. Give it to Byron. I'm sure he'd like it!<<<
You guys say some of the funniest stuff!
I have a very very big feeling there could have been some really golden banter between Snoop...
Oh sorry for not clarifying my man...I was referring of course to
the Sesame HIV thread that was hijacked by some extremely disturbing extremist views. And yes, yours and Annika's thoughts on one of those related threads were well appreciated.
