Now what's going on with YouTube?

Is there some special reason why our subscriptions are no longer divided by channel and are all instead just thrown together in "this week" and "this month" rows? It's very cluttered and disorganized.

    The Oh-So-Permanent Thanksgiving Thread

The vegan stuff turned out to be not as bad as I thought it would. Well, the vegan mac-n-cheese was kind of flavorless, but other than that, the whole meal was really good.

    Has anyone seen Puppet Up?

TBS aired a televised special from one of their performances - I did a review/recap of it that I had to do a lot of digging around to find again (way back in 2007), but you can check it out if you're interested: http://www.muppetcentral.com/forum/threads/dsnowths-puppet-up-uncensored-recap.28460

The Worst CGI Kid Films In Recent Memory

See, this is why movie stars originally didn't do television: because they were "too big," "too important," and "too expensive" to even consider lowering themselves to TV . . . now, Halle Berry, Uma Thurman, Kevin Spacey, James Caan, and Maria Bello, among others, are all doing TV now because...

TV Alert: Sesame Street at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Wait . . . Wolfgang belonged to Uncle Wally? I didn't remember that.

Christmas: Are they shoving it down our throats too early?

I forgot to bring this up, but when I was at the post office last week, they already have envelopes and packages for Valentine's Day.

Sesame Street Season 46 Press Kit; HBO premiere set for Saturday January 16, 2016

Keep in mind that often times the seasons are produced at least a year in advance, and Sonia only recently retired, likewise Joey just recently left, so more than likely Season 46 was already filmed before all of this happened.

TV Alert: Sesame Street at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Heh. That Sofia Carson girl was clearly lip-syncing: she was way off, lol. But did anyone happen to notice Fran's U.S. Cellular commercial where she was a grandmother giving her grandson a penny? I've tried to find it, but it doesn't seem to have been posted on YT yet.

Here's a toe-tapper from another classic animated Thanksgiving special that time forgot:

11-18-1985: A day that changed Sesame Street Forever

Wasn't Buffy (and Sheldon and Kody, for that matter) only on during the 70s?

Sesame Street Season 46 Press Kit; HBO premiere set for Saturday January 16, 2016

Well, he was in that SNL skit earlier this year, and Marty has a lot of clout on SST, so I'd venture to say probably.

The only one who really missed out on meeting Snuffy was Mr. Hooper.

Because the rest of the family is bringing it and other vegan dishes and they want us to give them a try, so we kind of have to.

    The Oh-So-Permanent Thanksgiving Thread

    I. . . . think just yours. Then again, I know a lot of families eat mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving, but we don't because my mom says you can eat mashed potatoes any time during the year, but Thanksgiving is a time to have things you wouldn't normally eat during the year - we have sweet potato...

Leaving it in the fridge too long? I personally prefer Jell-O that's hasn't quite set as long as it's supposed to: I find that it tastes more flavorful if it's still just slightly mushy.

So they'd rather turn to SNL castmembers - who are probably far more expensive than VAs and want even more money than most VAs who work usually like freelancers anyway?

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

One thing that I still find out is the hinting of Arthur and Ladonna ship-teasing . . . it seems really contrived and unnecessary. Like the episode where she's trying to cram in all those different activities with everybody in as little time as she can, then Arthur just randomly shows up on her...

    The Oh-So-Permanent Thanksgiving Thread

I understand Charles Schulz was contracted to produce an educational film for kids diagnosed with cancer to watch, however, given that his mother succumbed to cancer, he opted to turn it into a full-fledged special, against the wishes of Bill Melendez and Lee Mendelson, who were initially...

The Worst CGI Kid Films In Recent Memory

But what about animated movies almost always having to including two or more SNL castmembers doing voices anymore? Seems like Bill Hader, Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, Amy Poehler, and Fred Armesin are the go-to SNLers to do voices in almost all animated movies anymore. Slightly off-topic, but I...

    The Oh-So-Permanent Thanksgiving Thread

One really good non-holiday PEANUTS special is WHY, CHARLIE BROWN? WHY? Wikipedia is slightly incorrect in saying that it's only been aired on television once, because I have a partial recording from the mid-90s, I just don't know where it came from (there's no network bug, but I'm assuming it...
