    Kermit and Ernie

Yeah. I was going to mention that one. Also, don't forget they both had singing lines in the "Somebody's Getting Married" song at the end of TMTM. Anyway, the earliest Kermit voice I can remember was probably the first time he sung "Bein' Green." It seems like Kermit sounded more like...

"My name is Eddie, I love spaghetti..."

Hmmmm. I wonder why that is. Lol.

Sesame Street Season 35 New Characters

That is interesting that they'd remember that character. I also didn't think Jerry Nelson voiced characters appeared in the 'On the Street' segments too often anymore. It was good to see that. Now if only they'd bring back more remembered characters like Sherlock Hemlock, Forgetful Jones, Guy...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 35

I mentioned this on another thread, but I wasn't sure whether or not anyone saw my post, so maybe I'll repeat it again here. I wonder if the 'invisible' Snuffy concept was a reference to the early days when Snuffy really was thought to be invisible.

Rough Times Need Caring Friends (A short story)

I understand what you're saying, Beth. I have a lot of problems right now too and it's hard to find people to talk about them with. My mom is always busy when I want to talk to her and my dad's not always very sympathetic. In fact just the other day, I was disappointed about something and...

    Question about a skit

Hmmm. I think I do remember hearing Robin sing that one. I'm not quite sure when. I think I heard it on MC radio. I'm not sure about the Mr. Rogers connection, but you might want to check the Kermitage episode guide to find out which TMS episode that was.

Sesame Street Season 35 New Characters

In response to the one about Humpty Dumpty, I looked at a little of this episode today and I was wondering about the same thing. I believe that Kermit News Flash is at the Toughpigs website, maybe you want to check the pic of that Humpty Dumpty to see if it's the same one. Just a suggestion.

Muppet Recasts of Cartoons and Kids Shows

O.K. Let's try Rocky and Bullwinkle Robin: Rocky Sweetums: Bullwinkle The Great Gonzo: Boriz Badenov (I couldn't see Kermit playing a character like that) Miss Piggy: Natasha Fatale Fozzie Bear: Capt. Wrongway Peachfuzz That's all I can think of right now....

Muppet Recasts of Cartoons and Kids Shows

Yeah, I didn't know that either until I saw the MSNBC special. You people need to tell us these things! Lol.

This thread is brought to you by the number 40

Yeah. I remember a few 40 counts on the show, particularly the cartoon where a boy counted all the stars. He stopped at 40 then said 'and many more.' I believe it was around the 20th anniversary of the show since Bill Cosby mentioned that in the TV special.

Sesame Street on Deborah Norville Tonight

Yeah. I saw the part the two cast photos. At that part I can see where Elmo can be annoying. When they mentioned the characters in the photo Elmo said something about him being there. Hello! Elmo was not in the show's first season and I didn't see him anywhere in the picture. He did...

Sesame Street on Deborah Norville Tonight

Seems like I missed a lot. I couldn't tear myself away from a Phillies game so I only saw the second half hour. I did see the clip of the Mr. Hooper death scene and Deborah talking to Bob and Carolyn. Whatelse happened before that? I thought it got a little boring at the end with Grover...

    Operating the Big Bird puppet

Yeah. Maybe that's why Carroll Spinney stays away from JTE. That does seem to be a complex process. Carroll's just not as young as he used to be, so I guess these days it would be hard for him to handle that. I hope he doesn't read this message and take offense at what I said. Lol.

    Were these charachters ever together?

Hmmm. Some of these people might not have been on the show at the same time. I do remember the classic scene in "Follow that Bird" where Olivia and Snuffy were both singing "One Little Star." I think that was before Olivia (and all adults on the show) knew Snuffy existed, but they did show...

The Baker Falling Down the Stairs Series

Hmmm. I remember seeing the baker series when I was a kid which was in the 80s. I really don't remember one about 'one' though. Come to think of it, when I watched the show, I don't think they ever had 'one' as the number of the day. I could be wrong though.

    Sesame Street in YOUR state??

I'm glad you asked about that because there is indeed a Sesame Street nearby my University. What's even stranger is that there's all this crime and vandalism that happens on that Sesame Street. Go figure.

Elmo on Hollywood Squares April 12-16

So what happened with Elmo on tonights show? I didn't see it because... A. I was out last night B. Even if I had been there it would have been pre-empted where I live because of a ball game Well, enough about my personal life. Lol.

2 cartoons and a Gordon skit.

I find that a bit ironic since the original Gordon did have hair. Maybe they should have just shown clips of earlier episodes.

Was John Williams influenced by Captain Vegetable?

Oh. When you said John Williams, I thought you were referring to 'Jon Jon,' the kid who grew up to be an air force pilot. If you've seen the 20th anniversary special you know what I mean.
