SESAME STREET STAYS UP LATE was another oddity too, becuase that was New Year's Eve, in NYC, the dead of winter, surely there would have been snow on the ground then. At least the characters were dressed for winter and the trees were bare, so that's something.
I've never known Pops to have any mascots, I just remember those commercials they did in the 90s where someone would have a nightmare that there weren't anymore Pops, or somebody stole all their Pops, until they wake up and immediately reach for a box, reciting the cereal's tagline, "Gotta have...
I kind of feel like this episode was rather predictable on my levels: I had a feeling that Oscar would initially be delighted that people would be leaving him alone and not bringing him any Valentine's, but later be upset for that very reason because getting Valentine's makes him grouchy, which...
Well, like I said, they're riding up because they've got large holes in them where the upper arms of the puppet will be attached; otherwise, they do come to about the elbow (the bend of the arm moreso).
I was reading about SEINFELD trivia on IMDb and found this:
That's not at all true. There's been a number of sitcoms long before SEINFELD that filmed extensively outdoors for their runs - in fact, many sitcoms had their exterior sets at the Desilu lot, such as Mayberry (THE ANDY GRIFFITH...
Really, my biggest issue with KSY is how anachronistic it is: it's supposed to be set in the 50s, given that's when Jim would have been growing up, and we have a seen where Kermit encounters a young Jim, but the movie seems to be set in the 70s instead. Other than that, as I said, I think it was...
Ah, at last, more people in the same league as me!
Yeah, I don't think either MFS or KSY deserve as much hate as they get (I'll admit MFS was flawed with Tim Hill's direction since he didn't even like the Muppets anyway, but all and all it wasn't a bad movie, and KSY was fun despite being oddly...
I beg to differ. VMX was perhaps the poorest Muppet movie we've gotten, and part of the problem was they brought in Simpsons writers for it; Simpsons and Muppets have very different styles of humor.
I heard something like that too, but I took it with a grain of salt, because the last I heard, Danny supposedly shut down aka CARTOON after EEE ended production - I remember emailing Tony Sampson once when he released his email address for fans to contact him and he told me everybody was really...
I just recently watched some guy's reviews of the top ten worst movies based on older cartoons (you'll be happy to know, Drtooth, that YOGI BEAR made the guy's list), of which the Squeakquel made the list, but the guy's complaints about the movie were kind of petty: he complained the Chipmunks...
Not necessarily, because not everybody has Netflix, so this wouldn't have worked well enough if the idea is to try to have the Muppets achieve mainstream status, because they would only be seen by a small percentage of the public; that was one of the concerns about SST moving to HBO, as not...
Again, it would certainly help is Disney and ABC would let the Muppets just be the Muppets rather than trying too hard to morph them into a Muppet Modern Office Family in an attempt to give them mainstream appeal; but that's not to say they should try to reboot/rehash TMS - they already tried...
I actually don't remember that, and I'm pretty sure I've played every Courage game at least once: I remember the first game was a number-guessing game (it was really lame), I remember Pharoah Phobia, I remember Creep TV (it was great, it should have been a console game), and I remember Nightmare...
Still can't get anything to play, or even playlists to display, so I give up on the site; this is why I usually just wait for SW or others to post the same clips on YT anyway.
"Three awesome things combined"? A puppy, a monkey, and a baby? What? I'm sorry, this is just way to freaky to be awesome . . . I mean what is this, some kind of a genetic experiment? I'll watch the YouTube videos about Typhon-02 if I want to see a genetic experiment.
Well I made a mistake in switching from felt to cotton for mouthplate fabricating: for a lining (to protect the mouthplate from sweater hands) it works great, but when actually fabricating a puppet head, it's extremely difficult and near impossible to keep the cotton mouth fabric from wrinkling...
After seeing "Love Notes for Muffy" again today, I once again found myself wondering why Drtooth never did a YTP or deviantion of this:
ARTHUR: Brain? Are you okay? You're acting kind of weird today.
BRAIN: (Beat) Am I!? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
