I guess the problem people have with Pepe is similar to the problem people have with Elmo. He's getting all the airtime, and pushing the old classic Muppets to the background. As for my opinion, I feel Pepe was a pretty good addition to the Muppets. I really like his dialog: (Ex: the 'gosh...
Yeah. I'm pretty sure Fozzie's name came from Frank's. However, I've read at the Wikipedia website that Fozzie might have been named for a costume designer named Faz something-or-other. Go figure.
Yeah. I've noticed at the other thread under 'Muppet Headlines' a lot of people didn't like the movie. Which is okay. People are entitled to their opinions, but I'm a bit surprised at that. I thought it was really good. I guess Muppet movies just haven't been quite the same since Henson's...
I agree. I didn't say it was dirty or anything like that. I just meant that the humor seemed to be meant for adults as well as children. That's what made it a good family film.
Let's see. I don't have time to read all the posts here now, but I thought the movie was really good. It did seem to have a lot of adult humor. (Hence the TV-PG rating) I did like seeing Crazy Harry. I would like to have seen Rowlf more, but I guess they're still limiting his appearances...
It's hard to believe that really was Eric. I was thinking about that quite a bit today. I was thinking that maybe Eric was out signing autographs or something and they got a different puppateer to play her for a live appearance, but if you say it was Eric I believe you.
I guess I see what...
Wow! Rowlf made a TV appearance? That's interesting. We haven't really seen much of him other than in the Weezer video. I wish I would have seen Conan.
I recall that most of them did start with a street scene, then they'd play the theme music as the show started. The only exception that I can think of was the episode where Susan and Gordon adopted Miles. That one started with a segment with a baby eating a chocolate cookie and getting it all...
I have to admit. I didn't hear it too well, since I was at the Y when I was watching it, but I agree with what you said about the voice. I thought she sounded a bit too much like Grover. I wonder if that was Eric Jacobson. His Piggy voice was really good before, so I'm guessing they either...
Thanks for the info, Squirrel. So far I haven't seen any eps past the Big Bird and Snuffy hiking episode. I was worried it was just my local station.
So we still have JTE? I sort of thought they were getting rid of that for good, since not many people care for that segment. Oh well. I...
Okay, I'll ask the next one. Let me think. I'm trying to think up a really tough one. I've got it.
Which company was the distributer of the "Sesame Street" movie "Follow That Bird?"
Hey! I thought it was my turn to ask a question.
Oh, well. That's alright. I couldn't think of anything to ask anyway.
So in answer to your question, I'll say 'true.'
You might be an obsessed Muppet fan if...
You look through video stores for a copy of "The Muppets Go Hawaiin."
I believe this was a ficticious Muppet movie mentioned in a "Family Matters" episode. That one just popped into my head earlier today.
