I watched some of the special and the very end confuses me:
During the very end of the credits, [spoiler] what is the significance of the glowing bamboo stump?
One of my dreams is for all three companies to pool all the puppets they have at their disposal and re-create the ending of TMM. That would be so awesome, but alas, it'll never happen.
Joey's lack of ability for writing Big Bird probably doesn't reflect any sort of bias on his part. Maybe Caroll's busy? The characters they're primarily using each season (Elmo, Abby, Chris) are the most readily available performers, so if Caroll can only come in so often, they probably wouldn't...

It wasn't officially scrapped; we just don't know what happened to it. It not testing will and being unusable is a theory. Though, with all the effort and time they put into the new bits, I don't think they can afford to throw away any bits. That Katy Perry bit must have set them back quite a...
I liked that song. I mean, yeah it's just another Elmo bit, but frankly, I can't think of any other character that would've worked singing that with the Justin Bieber puppet. At least they got someone who can actually sing to do his vocals. It's certainly no Chris Cerf, but the composers they...
