I didn't want a repeat of Clinton with Hillary. And I do think Palin is too inexperienced. But the way the media and general public has treated both of them is abomidable. It feels like we're back in High School where the boys get to take shots at the ambitious girl, while also degrading and...
Absolutely, this is a country, not a dynasty. ;)
I didn't want Hillary to win, but I think she was robbed. She sacrificed herself for the male world and it stunk. And Obama made a big mistake not making her VP. He could have gotten her voters and created goodwill. Instead he allowed the more...
Yeah it's like everyone in society is downplaying the role of the parent. Kids shouldn't just observe TV or the world alone. Parents are there to answer questions. I think some of this is guilt over how so many more parents are having to work and be away from their kids (which is largely the...
Exactly! It's an issue that has gotten better but has never really gone away.
Ah the irony, we get the right to vote, and there's no one to vote for. ;)
Exactly, I don't understand this school of thought that's come around lately that kids don't watch older shows. It does not match the real world. It seems to go along with the trend of making everything safe and simple for kids, so as not to "confuse" or "challenge" them too much.
Honestly, men have always and continue to do better than women, no matter what. History shows this time and again, and this election is no different.
I seriously just want this election to be over. It's making people do crazy things on both sides. I seriously hope no one gets hurt. The conduct...
Judging from the way Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin have been treated during this election (whether you like them or not), clearly our country is not ready for a woman president. In fact, I'd discourage women from trying right now and it's a dreadful shame.
And I loved how Jim responded with, "Jerry you were on that shoot, right?" Lol
It's great how the whole group laughed at his Convincing John moment, I think it shows they liked the show too, it wasn't just a job. It's really great of them to share that on a DVD.
My Harpo Marx costume turned out well, and I got recognized which is always good, hehe. At one point I saw my shadow and thought, "Wow, I really do look like him!" LOL
I was out til 3am. No drinking, just hanging out. Now I'm glad for DST!
I don't think the current generation would be any less entertained by the older material. People haven't changed as much as people seem to think. ;)
I'm not positive but I don't think Don't Eat the Pictures has ever been on DVD. But I believe it's still available at the Museum giftshops on VHS.
Ah ok, sorry I misunderstood. ;)
Yeah it's still so up in the air. :insatiable:
Definitely love it! I always get such a rush when something new comes along, hehe. And it says Richard also gives a speech for the wrap party. Plus, I listened to the Henson podcast the other day, Larry Mirkin...
Good call! ;)
The descriptions of the last day of shooting and wrap party sound just like what I was hoping for. They have always been generous with special features, which is appreciated. :)
At the moment, they're only releasing Season 4 as part of the expensive box set, which is a drag. There is a chance they'll release Season 4 separately later on but no news on that as of now. If I can get this boxset, I'm hoping to donate my previous sets to a library or something similar...
Very pleased with the bonus features on the Fraggle Rock DVD set!

Now hopefully I'll be able to see it, heh.
Heck, I'm not sure if I can afford this one. I may have to rely on the kindness of relatives, hehe. But the library is a good idea, I wish more libraries had full box sets instead of single DVDs.
