Let me try one. Fozzie should obviously be Fonzie. For the rest of the cast:
Richie: Kermit
Ralph: Scooter
Potsie: Gonzo
Howard Cunningham: Waldorf
Marion Cunningham: Statler (Hey, it's the 21st century!)
Joanie: Annie Sue
Chachi: Rizzo
Lori Beth: Miss Piggy
Roger: (This...
Here's my thoughts on this. I don't think the three original Muppet movies would need to be redone. They were fine the way they are. The closest we had to a remake of "The Muppet Movie" was "Kermit's Swamp Years" and that didn't work out too well. They should probably just leave the old...
Well, she did appear recently in the "Healthy Foods Game" episode and in "The Street We Live On" special. Hopefully she'll get more airtime this season.
I believe you're referring to "A Special Sesame Street Christmas" which came out in 1978. I haven't seen it, but I've read descriptions of that one on the Internet. I'm guessing it was never that popular in comparison to "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street."
Sorry. I haven't noticed your post before, but I thought I'd comment here. I haven't really noticed much of a difference in the early Bert and Ernie either considering pictures I've seen and stuff like that. I think it's just something you don't realize unless you think about it. I do notice...
That's true and I guess that's why you don't see Susan around quite as much as before. I guess the actress is pursuing other projects but still shows up on "Sesame Street" when she can. Unlike Bob, who's still on the show as much as possible. It's great that both of them are still around.
Yeah. I see what you mean. I also find it interesting that Susan is the only one in Gordon's family who has always been played by the same person. I've been thinking about that so I thought I'd mention it here.
In a way I agree. I sort of got back into the show considering the new season and my interest in Muppets and all that. But I still feel a bit embarassed watching "Sesame Street" when other people are around. I usually watch the show when I have time to be by myself. In this case it makes me...
Yeah, I know what you mean after all, it's been done with Colleen on "Dr. Quinn," Morgan on "Boy Meets World" and Hariette on "Family Matters."
I think if I would have been around in the 70s and have seen Gordon changing, I would have been sort of freaked out.
For the most part I'm glad...
Unfortunately, I think they'll use the standard season 2 opening titles, because they showed clips from that one in the trailer. But still I'm looking forward to seeing all the eps and extras.
Thanks for the info. I have seen pictures of both Matt and Hal and you're right. Their looks are pretty similar so I guess that wouldn't require an explanation. But when comparing Matt with Roscoe, you can see a difference. I guess we can say the change was something that gradually took...
Actually, someone mentioned in a previous post that they'd air new eps on Mondays during the summer. But other than the "What Happens Next" episode, I haven't seen anything new.
I agree. I was taken in for a second, but the more I thought about it, the less believable it sounds. Was there ever really an explanation of how he changed though? Or did they just put the other guys on without anybody making a mention of that.
Also I realize that Gordon's not the only...
Are you serious? That seems a little extreme for something that would happen on "Sesame Street." I believe you. I just find that strange. I thought they just happened to bring on the new Gordon's without anybody on the show noticing that he changed. I guess it would explain why Hal Miller's...
I really don't understand what PCs would have to do with this. I don't think computers would affect Oscar's nicknames for people in any way.
Just a few things I want to make note of here:
Someone said that Oscar always called Gordon "Curly." What about the other two Gordons that weren't...
I really don't think it's possible that they're kids because they share an apartment together and I've seen them drive a car. They are probably adults but that doesn't really explain the "grade school" statement. I'm guessing that was just a mistake by the writers. I've also seen books that...
