Re: Beaker
Why thank you! Seriously though...I dont like to keep bagging on other companies...but theres no way one can see in person or meet Mickey and Bugs in real life. That's whats so neat about it.
And I hope one of these days everyone on here can see in person/meet a Muppet/performer...
The use of real life locations in the mastercard commercial
and some of Kermit's Swamp Years. The Mastercard Commercial blew me away, and am hoping this is the direction JHC takes things in...so that said:
Mastercard Commercial
Palisades figures
the Weezer thing which Im sure brought...
Re: Janice's hair
*Note to the world: Please ban the following words
in the new year:
Hair-Don't
H*lla
Don't Go There

LOL
Btw, I thought Sam's hair mop toupee was a great sight gag...just glad its not a permanent fixture;)
Let's not talk about that;)
But yes, real life locations! At least KSY had a real swamp.
Finally, I think the Electric Mayhem needs to get out of the late 60's/early 70's and get some new threads.
Im thinking a shiny silver space goth look...maybe even an 80's new wave style? I dont...
Well, Ive been on eBay for 4.5 years, so I know all the tricks of the trade;)
And yes, eBay now is one of my main sources of income(besides pimpin robot ho's int he alpha squadron) Man, where did that come from? gah, I need more sleep.
I think it's pretty cool Steve still has his hair real long(at least from the Walk of Fame pix I saw) Fromw hat I remember most the original Muppeteers were a bit hippiesh in hair and appearence(err, cept Frank OZ...but bald is beautiful;) )
We NEED cgi Muppets(ie: waldo, the dragonfly in VMC, the bug in KSY) and we NEED animatronics. But its kind of neat seeing the arm rods. At any rate, maybe I shouldnt have included that one. But the others are spot on right?
Oh my! This has to be one of my favorite threads in awhile! I Really wish everyone on MC would post their answer to this thread. Anyways, so cool hearing about everyone being fans from such early on.
I will admit though, my passion has waxed and waned periodicly. It happens...sometimes you...
Agreed. I hate to see it, but I feel those individuals who only see the Muppets as old nostalgia, has beens, kiddy fodder, never gonna come back, etc are not real fans. Real fans while really having a deep appreciation of the rich 50 year legacy are also looking towards the future.
That...
I posted these on another thread, but I'll make this short:
Actual real life locations(hopefully including Manhattan again)
Original heart felt magical music(maybe even try to get that magical ethereal feeling of the fraggle songs?)
Smart writing that doesnt involve brief cameos with...
There is only one character(besides the Two Bossmen) I think that would just me th emost outrageous, detailed, and cool looking sculpt:
DIGIT!
He's come with plugs in his back and head, and wires.
He would also be cool fo rthe upcoming Matrix film hoopla;)
Palisades is/has already...
Indeed, perhaps this new buyout thingy will perhaps provide for those kind of oppurtunities to happen.
Yes, it would be more conveinent for some(me, tom, jamie, etc) to have it in California...however I believe it would be much more apro po and symbolic to have it in NYC.
Well, no matter...

*ack, its 5:30 am...do you know where your sanity is?*
Did someone say 1989? Oh this is too surreal...anyone who knows me knows Im always talking about how 1989 was the greatest year ever!
My favorite 1989 moments?
*The Jim Henson Hour
*Back to the Future 2
*Ninja Turtle Mania in high gear
*The debut of 16 bit systems like Genesis and...
*yay* Another Telly fan! It is one of my hopes to get Telly as respected as say Gonzo, Pepe, and Gobo. I truly beieve Telly is one of the top Muppets out there personality wise.
Anyways, at first I was thinking 'A MTI variant Sam?' Then I saw the prototype. Holy canole! I think a lot of us...
That might have applied two decades ago...it's much more than that now^_^ j/k...naw, compared to a lot of the avid collectors out there, Im practically one of those 'Hey, who were those two old guys in the theatre?" varieties;)
Don't you know he's all that stands between us, the very fabric of the time string continuum and an utter collapse into the endless chasm of entropy?
...*whew* it's getting late^_^
