Sorry...I dont mean to be. Im not like in real life...I guess I see oppurtunity for parodies and sendoffs more than I should.
Also, seeing Muppet characters juxtaposed against lesser quality puppets was kind of strange.
Lambchop just creeped me out. Then again so did Mr. Roger's Land of Make...
Honestly, I havent truly seen MTV in a few years(I cut off cable in 1998) People have tried to show me Jacka** and Osbournes, and I just couldnt handle the idiocy of either of those two.
Honestly tho, the net has replaced tv for me. I rarely watch tv if at all. Maybe an hour a week these...
Heh, white boys cant make horrible hate filled rap music? ;)
Yeah, sadly kids these days are weened on a steady diet of eMpTyV and other ills of media and entertainment.
I have hope though...as at this rate these kid's will be not much more than mush potato heads when they grow up. ^_^
Totally. I mean no other show regularly has Muppets from ALL THREE major franchises...Muppet Show, Sesame, and Bear in the Big Blue House. Even Rosie couldnt pull that off. I will say though, itll be hard to top Holywood Square's 2002 Muppet lineup.
Nope, just a bunch of unemployed and Z rate puppets surrounding the great Fozzie and Grover. The Muppets shouldnt even be called puppets...I mean they are beyond that and on a whole other playing field than these bozos.
And Lambcop, dear goodness gracious. A little grotesque sock puppet that...
Luke, why do I have the feeling we'll be seeing more of these PR release red herrings regarding the JHC buyout? hmmm...
Btw, did anyone else get an email from this Becker guy?
I think this story is gonna disappear quicker that one of his retirement home lunch table magic tricks.
Exactly. Sadly the WWE tries to continually aim for the 12-17 crowd...that was great in the 80's/to mid 90's...but when they went exposive over the top adult angles(porn stars, death, etc) that's just way over the line.
The crap that is on tv aint the WWF I used to tune into every week. The...
Oh totally. Look at The Tick(the animated one, not that boring live action one), All American Girl(one of the funniest sitcoms ever, but ABC pulled it because America didnt care for a Korean family on tv afterall...poor Margaret Cho), Jim Henson Hour(my personal fave Muppet show EVER), Ellen(the...
It's funny some of the best dialogue and scenes get cut, but the horrific slow and destracting Heaven scene in the opening stayed. I think the fake Croc hunter and a number of other things should have ended up on the cutting room scene...to me the travesty wasnt Snoop Dogg being in it, it was...
Good to hear they are going back to being funny...as I swear the last few seasons I just couldnt watch, as they went out of their way to be just plain creepy and cryptic.('Praiseland' episode for example)
Btw, I think 3 "S" shows will still be around in 30 years: Sesame Street, SNL, and The...
One thing we can agree on, the Lakers are down for the count.
Which is great. they had their little 3 year run, but their time is over. I know theyve been winning a bunch of games lately, but I think it is too little too late.
Because I dont think a lot of mainstream jane and joe's fully appreciate out there comedy. Friends does well to cater to the Gap crowd. Though...Seinfeld was a rarity, it managed to appeal to a lot of folks and remain one of the strangest epic comedies ever. Seinfeld is my all time fave show...
Yeah, and look what the WWF did with WCW. Im hoping someone buys the WWE and retires it so we dont have to see that garbage on the tv screen anymore when were flipping through Thursday and Monday night shows^_^
But you do bring up a good point...that "11th hour" deal.
From the sound of...
Heh...well unfortunately the eye candy only runs one way, as there sure aint no chcik eye candy...they all look like grotesque surgical nightmare men!
But yeah...Jami eyou dont EVEN wanna know some of the angles and plotlines played out over the last few years. To say shocking and utterly...
How in the heck does Stargate SG-1 get higher ratings? Do people actually watch that horrific show(based on a mediocre 1994 film I might add) or is Sci Fi just making up numbers?
Man, you know Sci Fi secretly had it in for JFC and Farscape fans when they switched Farscape's times with...
Riiiighhhht...because in 10 years Disney wouldnt have time to go back an alter something in a movie. Look what they did to the opening of Roger Rabbit and other scenes. Heck look at ET....companies have a real fetish for history revisionism.
The fact is there was a lot of *ahem* inuendo...
