It's shows like that and Loonatics that make me realize why they wanted to get rid of Kid's WB so eagerly. Meanwhile, the selling off to 4Kids pretty much killed Spectacular Spider-Man. So, yeah... aside from the watch dog crap, I'd say that show has a little piece of blame for that, too...
You know... I actually expect someone to say "Annoying Orange," but that seems redundant. Though he is more unintentionally annoying than anything.
OH! And speaking of idiotic fruit that doesn't shut up... one of the worst cartoons I've ever seen? Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island. You...
I'm REALLY ticked off how Nickelodeon tossed Monsters Vs. Aliens off the schedual as fast as possible, especially leaving on a crappy "The Adventure Continues" finale. They set the show up for this potential big showdown with Coverton, and the best they could do was just turn him into Dick...
Which is totally natural for a show that's been on that long. The one bright spot is that we haven't had a disease of the week episode the past 2 seasons.
Still, Cookie Jar's crappy, almost criminal bookkeeping is the reason WGBH ran to a flash animation studio (who does better work with...
The Wizard of Oz series is perfectly stuck in the shadow of that one movie made that one time. The books are almost non-existant, apparently. That's a real shame. It was only Wicked (moreso the musical than the book it was based on, and even then the Musical ties into the movie) that broke...
The episodes can be good. They're just few and far between. But I did get to see the one where Brain has to deal with a rival ice cream shop before they went all copyright secret police and took it down. That one's actually quite good.
The one where Ladonna wants it to snow (which would...
Yeah. That's... that's just weird there. Especially how out of left field it was. It wasn't even mentioned in the original line up like the Harry Met Sally and Star Wars parodies. And no mention of it being in the upcoming season (which is logically where this will end up).
I guess it was...
Second time they did so, in fact. I didn't even know about it prior, or I'd have mentioned it earlier.n Good thing I got it early-ish too. Most comics zoomed off the tables once I finished off the chain comic stores and went to the indies. I didn't even get the Hello Kitty comic, which I...
The film seems to be borrowing the wrong aspects of super hero films. Especially that filmed in blue thingy that everyone has to do. Something tells me the actual director's actually even less talented than Bay.
But Shredder being a white guy rubbed me the wrong way far more than what I've...
They're involved purely because they are the DVD distribution rights holder for the current series (SHOUT has everything else). I'd almost think that Viacom/Paramount/Nick would be the producer/distributor, but there's some strain on their relationship because of internal network demands. I...
That DVD would only be a few minutes long. Plus "8 Balls of Fur" I swear is on every Sesame Street DVD ever made. Okay, it's on like 2 or 3 or something.
I dunno about Best ofs. Seems whenever we get one it's the either the rare awesome kind, like Celebration of Grover or the lame celebrity...
I'll admit, I was never really a fan of this show and HATED Fox Kids constantly adoring this series over the lost animated gems. But over the years, I've warmed up to the campy, goofiness of this original series, and I respect its sizable fanbase.
So... uh... Here's the link.
I really...
Coming Sooner than you think?!
SW leaked one of next season's new Crummy Pictures. A Wizard of Oz parody.
They shoulda leaked Star Smores, this past Sunday. Since May the 4th be with you.
Gonzo basically centered on the first three films after Henson. If you can think of MFS as Gonzo's movie, it does seem to view a little better. He was in top form in that film, as was Pepe and Rizzo... just everyone else (well... except for all the new characters used) felt flat, Kermit...
I honestly can't believe the selection of toys McD's has for Spider-Man 2. Here is the first comeback of a Marvel based kid's meal that wasn't a crappy totebag at Subway (you know, because fat kids), and the toys are baffling. The cheap mask thing, I see coming. They love to put those in...
You realize that even at the beginning, The Muppets had no place on prime time television. They got 2 pilots on ABC, but they refused to pick them up as a TV series. And I'm talking THE Muppet Show, here. If it wasn't for syndication, we wouldn't even have had the show in the first place...
Meanwhile, I'd like to ad that we've had a rise of Scooter, Rowlf, the Electric Mayhem... and the unthinkable... Link Hogthrob.
Seriously. If you told me if there was going to be Link Hogthrob in a Muppet Movie and he had lines, I'd think you were a liar and a jerk for trying to get me to...
I can see it now. 3 episodes before 2 episode (with invisible marketing) are shoved off after Tim Allen's horrible sitcom, and then the last 6 run in reruns through the summer to get rid of them so as not to take time away from the OH SO important Shark Tank.
Seriously... just make Muppet...
