ABC can suck it. All I'm saying. Their crappy little midseason shows killed the chance of any of their cult shows to flourish. The Neighbors shouldn't have been cancelled, and it's their fault for dumping it on Friday Nights after Tim Allen's garbage TV show.
And seriously. NBC cancelling...
That film was supposed to come out at least a year ago. Two maybe... Wanna know what the proof is?
IDW comics published the movie's supposed prequel back in 2012
So I'm guessing they either pulled it last year to avoid Disney's Wizard of Oz movie, or the studio was far, far behind on...
You can't truly complain about a movie until you see it first hand. It gives you more to complain about. There are those who have an open mind and want to see this for themselves. Some wanna see a trainwreck. Me? I just wanna see Vernon (something tells me he's the ONLY thing they got...
There's differences in physics, level design, and abilities. That's about it, but that basically explains every video game sequel ever made. SMB 1 does suffer from some first child stuff here and there. Japanese SMB 2 wasn't much of an improvement and essentially plays like a fan hack/rom...
Every... single... Land Before Time on DVD. The only reason they stopped making them is because they shut the animation studio down. There are movies that don't quite measure up, there are ones that fall flat, then there's ones made to sell crappy DVD's to shut 5 year olds up for 80 minutes...
I'm sure the difficulty thing was a tiny portion of the reason they skipped it, but I'm sure that it was the fact it was essentially the first game with harder jumps. There's so much I really dislike about Mario 1, and the jumping and absolutely stupid "find the correct path" castle stages are...
That's a real big step in the wrong direction. MCC and MTi only really worked because of Jerry Juhl's writing. And with MTI, they at least let him be funny. We know the other one, why I hate it. Other than the fact it's a chilling reminder of what Henson could have done if they still owned...
Bay's just the producer, but I'm sure that he has something to do with that sort of thing. That sort of thing doesn't really work for the Turtles. The writer of this film seems to forget that the turtles are Ninjas, and Ninjas have to require a certain amount of stealth. Sure, there were some...
The Sonic line unfortunately lends itself to being fragile. The character legs are too thin. They look perfect, but when they have those thin as heck limbs, they just can't hold up that well. That's why Fairly Oddparents doesn't make as good a toy line as it should. I got that Timmy Turner...
Ah, Sony. Still not getting the point of current media. At least, that's not PlayStation related.
Anyone else thinking child stars they sort of grew up with being all adult and married and having weightloss commercials surreal? And not even funny surreal. Depressing surreal.
After a buttload of missteps, almosts, and frustratingly close never happens, Disney XD will finally air episodes of the character that's iconic all over the world, except here (unless you have a Chinatown or Asian district, that is). Of course, it's going to be heavily censored and everyone...
By the time they were revealed, it was far too late to go back into post and fix them. The toy line was already made. Nothing could have been done unless they released these designs 2 years ago.
I mentioned this in another thread, but I'm very disappointed in Nickelodeon for letting Monsters Vs Aliens die off without a second season leading them to the dreaded "The Adventure Continues." Normally I wouldn't care much, but the entire series was building up that Coverton was planning...
If there's three things that bug me about the whole thing...
1) They lost the opportunity to lampshade Francine's character development. They made the character do a complete 180 with "Vomitrocious" when she actually started feeling guilty. If anything, Francine should have been called out...
That stuff doesn't bug me as much as reading up on the whole issue of movie goers supposedly being too freaking dumb to get the reveal that Dorothy could have crossed back and forth to Oz, and had it as a dream instead. Of course, it does work for a solitary stand alone film, and it gave way to...
It's the lack of variety that does it for me. While I actually don't hate the original SMB game, the physics are quite off, making Mario's jumps unwieldy and harder to control. Especially mid-air course corrections or the lack thereof. And a LOT of the Lost Levels' challenges are jumping...
Back to the video game example, I find Earthworm Jim 2 much more fun and funnier all around, as frustrating as heck that last stage is (the one where you have to beat Psycrow in a footrace). Even the music seems better.
And, even though I already said it before, Super Mario 2 I LOVE. I can't...
I've stopped getting attached when Catscratched was thrown under the bus. I made the mistake of getting into Monsters Vs Aliens (at least Dreamworks could have overpowered Nick), and that turned out well.
Now to tie this back into the thread and continue this train of thought, what's the deal...
Like this?
There is no reason for Arthur to be that creepy. The lizard tail and tongue aren't even the reason why.
But it at least felt organic. I've seen lots of Flash animated cartoon shows that get it... Teen Titans Go, Wander Over Yonder, the new Tom and Jerry cartoon... even 9...
I doubt it's going to last no matter what. It's a Nicktoon. Other than TMNT, I haven't seen one manage to get treated well by the network in the past several years, almost a decade. And that's only because they sank a crapload of money into TMNT, the toys are selling very well, and kids...
