Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
So, anyone in the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut area: An hour-long version of the concert is going to air in July on PBS. It WILL feature the Sesame Street cast's scene. Times and dates:
July 18 - WLIW21 10pm
July 26 - Thiteen and CPTV 10pm
July 30 - NJN 10pm
If celebrities are apparently costing much, I don't know why they don't go the AM route for some of them. "Measure, Yeah, Measure" felt very classic just because it used an AM caricature instead of the actual Justin Beiber. Part of the humor from the newer spoofs is because of the caricatures...
I'm pretty sure they're done. If anything, the only things left are the celebrity Word of the Day bits. I know they started filming, but someone (who as at the PBS Annual Meeting a month or so ago, where they had info on the new season) said they started in July. So, either they were wrong or...
I think part of the reason others didn't like it because it was a meaningful song used a different context. The song serves a purpose in the first movie, to establish Kermit as a dreamer. But in the newest movie, they're just performing it because it's their most memorable song.

I think Baby Bear's one of the funniest characters on the show now. He not only gets a lot of great lines, he and Telly usually have some of the best stories of the season.
As far as the AFFS stuff is concerned, they stopped production on those by season 42. We'll find out in September what the future of that segment is. We know there's a new Cookie segment, which would probably cost less than AFFS (maybe less than ETM even; I don't next to nothing about the...
As much as I'd like an anniversary album, the majority of songs it would have would most likely be already downloadible from the other albums already available; like those "digital collection albums" they've been doing.
I want an album of completely new, unreleased material. I don't know why...
Those would be the worst things ever, especially in the first few seasons. By episode, like, five, you'll have seen the same segments replay dozens of times. Unless they made a set of just all the segments/street scenes that made up each episode to avoid any repeats, the DVDs would be endless...
