    Kermit Love dies at 91

That's interesting information, especially considering that to this day Spinney is still willing to perform Big Bird until he is no longer able. Kermit Love must have been a great mentor to him.

Any Scooby-Doo fans here on the forum?

I'm actually a Scooby fan, but I'm too upset to talk about it right now. I'll have to get back to you.

    Follow That Bird Discussion Thread

Yeah, I think this was during the Richard Hunt Elmo years, though you didn't quite hear the voice there. The Elmo we know didn't appear until about a year later. I guess it's best that this movie came out when it did.

Kermit and Fozzie of the TV Guide Channel!

:) : When we're on the radio, people don't know it's us. I sort of wonder if that's an indirect reference to the fact that it's Steve and Eric voicing Kermit and Fozzie now.

Kermit and Fozzie of the TV Guide Channel!

That was good. Thanks. I just have a quick question. Whoopi or one of the ladies said that everyone in the audience will take home TMS Season Three. Does that mean if you were in the audience, that day you would have gotten the show for free? I'm not trying to write a poem here. I'm just...

    Bein Green vs. Rainbow Connection

I don't know. I think 'Bein' Green' relates to me for the most part. Especially today, I was at the mall and I was probably the only guy there not holding hands with a girl. :( It seems like people don't accept me for who I am. I really know how Kermit feels when he sings that song.

    Nanny, the Unseen Matriarch

I guess that's a possibility. It really doesn't look like an English setting where MB takes place though. Of course, "The Muppet Show" was shot in England, so you never know. Kermit: How come you don't have an English accent? Beauregard: Are you kidding? I'm lucky to have a driver's...

Looking for a Spanish-to-English translation from the Rita Moreno TMS episode.

Gosh. I could have figured that out. I guess I read this post too late. Lol. BTW, you might want to change your quote now that we have this. :shifty: Nice pic though.

The Muppet Show Season 3 arrives May 20, 2008

Yeah, it's pretty darn close to the 20th now, so hopefully we'll see some Muppet talk show appearances soon.

Sesame Street Live: When Elmo Grows Up

So, they do have the actual muppateers do the voices while others play the characters. That sounds interesting. I'd like to see one of those some day.

April Fools: New Muppet Video Games

Well, I think that would have been a good idea, if they made something like that for real. After all, we have Mario Kart and Smash Bros. and all that. I think they can do a few of those types of games with the Muppets as well. I can even picture a 'Sesame Street Racing' or something like that.

    Labeling April Fools threads

Well, you shouldn't have taken it too seriously. After all if you see the date 04/01 on the post, you should know it's an April Fool's joke. Any other day of the year, it's understandable why you'd want to do that. Lol. Not to be critical or anything. Just thought I'd mention it. While...

    Grover and Herbert Birdsfoot

It's possible. I know I've caught him say, "Hey, Mumfie babyyyyy!" at one point.

    Labeling April Fools threads

Actually, I didn't catch any April Fool's threads yesterday. I might want to look through the board again once their properly labeled so they'll be easier to find. It would be nice to see what all I missed.

    The Original Telly

Well, it's not too unoriginal. If you recall in Pepe le Pew's first appearance, his accent was fake and he was really an American skunk because Chuck Jones hadn't planned on using him as more than just a one-shot character. I know I relate Looney Tunes to Muppets quite often, but I thought I'd...

    The Original Telly

Yeah, I got to know Brian's Telly from clips on You Tube, but I still haven't seen the original television monster. So why isn't anybody posting scenes from that ep? Come on, you lazy bums! Get with the program! APRIL FOOL! I'm not really angry. It would be cool to see that though. I...

Sesame Street Live: When Elmo Grows Up

Wait, you mean the puppateers actually loop in the voices for the SS Live performances while it's other characters in the costumes? I never thought about it before. That does sound about right though, because when I was a kid I remember seeing the show 'Big Bird & Company' at Sesame Place and...

    Muppets Tonight Episodes Release?

I actually heard that they would release MT! after they finished releasing the whole 'Muppet Show' series, but that would take up a lot of time. I really don't know what their plans are.

    Miss Piggy Serenades Matt Laurer

Oh, that one is from about a year ago. That should be Eric doing the voice. He might have meant that it changed from when Frank Oz did it.

    Cookie Monster on NPR

Yeah. I have to agree with Ernie on this one. Eric stopped voicing CM years ago. It had to have been Dave. Actually, it sounded like Frank though. Someone mentioned Eric's Grover has been sounding different from before as well. I guess it's because these guys have really been improving...
