    Ask Ken at Palisades

The people I have spolen with from my local EB store have had to be told about the line each time I have called and are very unspecific about what will be carried when. They also wouldn't reserve anything by credit card or any other method. They said it was first come first serve. I guess every...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

On Tux Kermit The TRU/Amazon website lists Master of Ceremonies Kermit to be released on July 1st along with the Muppet Labs Playset. This may be the reason for some of the confusion. Just thought I'd offer the info. I guess we can't expect someone working in a job with a high turnover rate...

The Mouse is Wooing Miss Piggy

Yeah, those shows really do bite. I could understand if they were clever, but they're not IMHO. No one I knew when I was a kid would have watched those programs. They have the impact and charm of a public service announcement.

Columbia Tri-Star will release 20 Muppet Show DVD's

That's some great stuff! I like the update.

The Mouse is Wooing Miss Piggy

I think you hit the nail on the head of that coffin - when Power Rangers etc take the place of something as cleverly written as Animaniacs. The educational programs you are refering to are ordered by the government (I believe) to have more educational programming on for kids. That's a bunch...

    Fraggle Rock Figures

Yeah, the Fraggle five and Matt are the ones I am most concerned with. Along with Sprocket, Gorgs, Cantus, some doozers, the Trash Heap and Convincing John. Beyond that - the odd fraggle would be great, but I'm not that picky.

Columbia Tri-Star will release 20 Muppet Show DVD's

It could hurt sales for Columbia to put out these dupes, but in my experience - many people didn't know these discs even existed. They weren't heavily marketed in the areas around me. I don't think the public at large would invest in all the eps, but I'm sure a good amount of people will...

    Fraggle Rock Figures

No Doozer set? That would be one of the only things I see missing from such a fantastic list. I think a Doozer set could be one of the best ones if they had all the trucks and gadgets.

The Mouse is Wooing Miss Piggy

Saturday mornings I agree that the magic is gone on Saturday mornings, but I always hated waking up so early anyway. These days Saturday morning-type media can be seen all week long! I wish they would at least play something on Saturday. I just saw a movie that had a reference to watching...

The Mouse is Wooing Miss Piggy

Interesting perspective - I agree. And I always liked Smurfette with black hair better.

    Crank Yankers

ALF RETURNING? You mean on the commercials, right? Is there an actual deal inked?

Columbia Tri-Star will release 20 Muppet Show DVD's

I like that they will be staggered - it helps 'cause I'm not made of money! LOL! The busts, the figures, the DVD releases, the possible fest and other stuff we don't even know about yet. Woohoo!

The Mouse is Wooing Miss Piggy

Someone actually remembers Rubik! I don't think it's a very high quality show, but I enjoyed it some as a little kid. It amazed me that they could design a whole program around an inanimate object and make a cartoon out of the crazy fad! I remember his Elmoish squeaky voice too. As much as...

Columbia Tri-Star will release 20 Muppet Show DVD's

Muppet Show DVDs I think this is the best idea for now. It would be great to have them listed by season, but since the Muppet Shows have no real timeline as far as plot I don't see the necessity to release them by seasons except that it would ensure a complete set. This way we get no dupes and...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

On the topic of figures at EB Eeeeeeek! I tried to reserve/buy the figures by telephone at my local EB but their policy didn't allow it. They couldn't confirm when exactly they would hit the shelves and sold out within an hour. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get them. They told me to try...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

We would be waiting until the aniversary is over seeing that series 1-5 are pretty much locked-ip (everything's tentative though). Ken suggested that Pepe was possible for series 6 - over a year from now. That was shelved, but it seems that anything could happen. There is no possibility...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

I agree that that packaging should reflect Pepe properly. I'm still a bit dismayed that the purists out there haven't mentioned anything about the cars. It doesn't bother me, but I did notice it and he does appear with the logo of a program he had no part in. That's kind of why it wouldn't...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Yes, the news figure is planned in series 5. He will come with his desk etc. On another note - by the time Pepe would have the opportunity to be introduced the anniversary will be over and the packaging will likely change, This will integrate him into the line more seamlessly, but that's just...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

My implication is that he would fit in with any of the Swinetrek characters. He isn't that intricate of a scuplt either - a trashcan with wheels! LOL!
