Heh, of course! ^_^;; But yeah, I didnt even know he was doing other bay area stops. I was barely able to catch the Berkeley one. It was like a mini Muppetfest, heh. Yeah the toddlers seemed a bit bored by Caroll's musings, but when he brought Oscar out into the audience the kids really lit...
Ok, does *anyone* know the situation with Juhl and Henson?
I swear, every single glorious thing the Muppets have done has had Juhl's name on it...and I mean *everything*. That guy could write a brilliant Muppets scrip tin hsi sleep, while JHC is paying for hack scripts that seem dated a few...
Hmmm, this doesnt sound like it iwll be a JHC CS film...though Mirror Mask will be. Heck Im all for a modern Dark Crystal type film...with advanced animatronics, cgi, as well as good ol puppetry it could truly be an epic ornate spectacle to behold.
I envision the Cell meets Never Ending Story.
So folks already know for certain they are going with the Halloween special? My thing is I just smell "family sanitized" Scary Movie all over this...especially with Scary Movie 3 out in August, ya know this may just be some laundry list of thriller movie parodies with more bad human acting. To...
Wow! Now this is some cool stuff!
A Muppet themed wedding sounds like the way to go to me^_^;;
Btw, Shakespeare and Muppets? To be green, or not to be green, that is the question I ask.
Sadly there has been no Bear crossovers what so ever, be it Bear or friends on another show or vice versa. Though Dave Goelz does have a character on there.
Aw, you are very right...however M@WDW in my opinion is one of the best Muppet productions I have ever seen(be it as a grooming for a JHC buyout or not) MVC, after repeated viewing unfortunately feels like a train wreck.(tho I am very happy at what VMC did numbers wise, and some of the special)...
It's funny, as since 1997 I love absolutely *every* minute of Bear. I cannot say enough good things about the show, and I am sad to see it go. I mean Tuttler and Trelo, what up!
I have a lot of the dvds, the cds, lots of merch...bottom line, IMHO best darn Muppet franchise since Fraggle...
Couldnt disagree more...it sounds tired, cliche, and not very 2003...same with the Time Machine thing. Is JHC that desperate for ideas? It makes you long for the Jerry Juhl days, when even Muppet specials were treated with dignity, not filled with a billion and one tv and product placement ads...
checked out the screenshots for Muppet cruise, saw the videos for all the levels of On With The Show. Why do I feel the sudden urge to weep, and not for joy?
Oh well, least we have Muppets Inside CD-Rom!
Hey that's a pretty cool surprise Dave showed up at the SF, sounds like both had unexpected Muppeteers! heh
Yeah Dave is a great guy, I didnt get to talk with him very long at MF, but if you look at his work in any sirutation(ad libbed, improved, scripted) he is definately the master. If...
On the subject of the state of Fraggle puppets:
Hey guys
on the subject of Fraggle puppets, I got to talk a little bit with KPrell at the Spinney book signing today. She mentioned that the original fraggle puppets arent doing to well(at least from the ones pulled out for the private FR...
Today(err, well I guess thatd technically be yesterday) was a day I'll never forget...it was a day where I took the green pill, and found out just how deep Oscar the Grouch's can went.
Earlier in the day I had seen the *other* green excitement...
The Matrix Reloaded; which had to be one of...
