Hmmmm. I notice Oscar's role has been light this season. We'd see his can quite often, but you never see him when you expect to. Then again, I've only seen a few eps this season, so hopefully I'll see more Oscar-centered eps when my local station goes back to airing the new ones.
Okay. That makes sense since when Artie performed Kermit/Kismet it was just him or him and Piggy, but I see where Steve can't perform both :) and :shifty: at the same time. 'He got two hands only.'
Wait. I'm a little confused here. People liked Matt as Kermit? I thought after this Artie/Kesmit thing it was established that Steve was to be the only performer of Kermit. Or did you just mean Matt was doing the puppetry while Steve was performing Rizzo, then Steve looped in the voice for...
Yeah. I saw the end of the street scene in that one. I did get a chuckle out of 'Whatchu talking about.' I did see Fat Blue's appearance. It's about time he went to eat at a place where Grover doesn't work. Did Grover appear at all there or was he even referenced? I might want to check it...
AL-VIN! Sorry, couldn't resist. Lol.
Okay, so it's not just me. So I guess You Tube is our only hope then. One big disappointment of living in Northeast PA.
Can someone help me out here. I'm going through my tape and I'm not finding the part with the Electric Mayhem. Was it before or after the part with Gonzo and Rizzo? Maybe seeing it on You Tube might help here as well. Anyway, if anyone can help me with this I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
That wasn't Eric as Fozzie? Or did you just mean in the 'behind the scenes' clip? I might want to check that scene on You Tube. I also didn't know the EM did a song later. I'll have to check my tape again.
I did think it was cool that they had the other Muppets join :concern: and :shifty...
Okay. I'm starting to like MSNBC better than ABC. They didn't even put :)'s appearance on GMA up. I'm glad NBC doesn't let us miss those Muppet moments.
Yeah. I was kind of thinking it was new. Luis looked more like he had his 70s hairstyle rather than how he looked in the 80s. On a different note, it's too bad Forgeful didn't say anything there. But like someone mentioned on the 'hidden gems' thread, they probably couldn't find anyone who...
Just a reminder for anyone who lives in Northeast PA and gets My Network TV 17, "The Muppets Take Manhattan" will be airing tonight on that channel at 8. Just thought I'd mention that.
We're still talking about this Kismet the Toad thing here? Just a little surprised that we're still updating a thread that's over two months old. It would be nice to see the real Kermit on MTV some time, or in my case on You Tube since I don't get that channel.
Yeah. I saw that ep yesterday. I thought it was good especially Forgetful's appearance. Still not sure if that was footage taken from the year of Maria and Luis's wedding or if that was new and they just had make up or whatever to make them look younger.
Yeah. It seems like Dave has...
Yeah. I know. And I was thinking someone would mention this, but what happened before came as a shock so you never know when it will happen again. But you're right, if it is to come up again, that would be the time to worry about it. We'll let it go for now.
I liked it, especially how they continued the song up until the end. And as far as I know it was indeed the famous Steve Whitmire doing the puppetry. I could tell even before he said anything. He's really got that 'nod' thing down, but anyone can correct me if I'm wrong here.
I hope I didn't miss it. I was doing some running around. They really haven't mentioned :) lately. I think he showed up before they showed Santa last year. I hope that's the case here and obviously I hope it's Steve performing him. :D
