I really agree with you, the Simpsons playsets look unimpressive. Now this is not to say that they are cummy or that the Simpsons are not wonderful characters. It's just that my introduction to this world of action figures has been recent and the Muppets seem to be the standard now...

Very well said. I don't think people would get Thundercats minis just because they have a few joints in them. I don't see it as an either/or proposition. I think the customer will go with which one looks better and non-articulated figures can look a lot better for several reasons.
I...

I don't think you wree whining. I still think it's a healthy debate though I think you are totally wrong :) LOL! Just kidding. I do respect your opinion and I respectfully disagree.
I agree with what Nate has said about the market for minis. They will add comthing different. And those...
Hey. Thanx. There will be mre information later. I have an epic cast of characters and the voice overs aren't quite worked out yet. Here is the link to the original thread: http://www.muppetcentral.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=743
If you'd accept non-articulated PVCs from another company, why not Palisades? The Fisher Price line has a nostalgic value but the likenesses of Animal, Gonzo and Sooter are particularly terrible. I just don't get people praising these figures. Everyone has their opinions though and I do lile the...
I was doing some voice casting for an online comic. Someone mentioned they wanted to help so I began a thread though it was a bit early. The site will be located at www.jamesvier.com/crossbreed
Sorry I haven't been more active about the state of the Cross-Breed, but it's been rather hectic around here and the initial post sort of jumped the gun a bit. I will keep you posted on the necessary voice work in the future. You may still keep the auditions coming, but no voice work will be...
I love Muppets of every age...I'm just an admirer of classic Muppets and quality animation. There have been rumors of some episodes being released on DVD, but nothing has surfaced yet.
There will already be 2 types of articulated figures and as Ken has said - these all new sculpt mini PVC statues will allow an even better likeness of each character because of the absence of joints and moving parts. It offers variety. Nothing bad about that. I like the PVC sets that have come...
I think of these PVC figure minis as plastic versions of the resin statues. That's the height of quality that Ken seems to be posting about. I think they'd be a fantastic idea! To tell you the truth I was actually concerned about the articulation. Just because other such minis have been made...

It has also been repoted that the theater will come with Sweetums because he's a must-have and will be too large for the reular asslrtment coming in at nearly a foot! Robin will likely come with him.

Welcome to the board! It has been established that one of the major features of the theater playset is that they other sets will be able to fit on the stage. It will not only be huge it will be deluxe and released next year.
Luke
I totally disagree. PVC figures are popular no mater what type of artivulation they have and these will undoubtedly be far superior to any that have come before. They are always in season and though they may not reach the same exact market as the six inch figures, I don't thing it really...
The Koozebane playset also plays into the Pigs in Space playset before it. It increases the play factor and brings Kermit into it too. Ah..increasing play. These are action figures afterall. Sometimes I forget that. PLAY WITH IT!:D
Well Ken said there is a "pretty good reason" why Janice is coming in wave 5 or on. If she does come out in 5 it's only a three month delay that may prove to be more interesting! Maybe it's a Malibu Janice with a beach house!
It was said somewhere that the megas would have extra features. I am guesing what these might be but all have been talked about. Beaker just won't have a head that you can push because that would take an entirely new sculpt. These megas seem lilely to be made in a smaller number than the figures...
