Monsters Inc. on Video an' DVD!!!!

I just don't see why Pixar films have to be aimed at kids. It's like they are traveling backwards with the times. That's why I am glad there seems to be competition from every angle. I don't believe that Shrek was really tacky - just not your type of humor. The titles were off-putting and - yes...

Well some of us actually have fun on their Friday nights. Okay - just had to! :) wink wink (This in no way means I really shoot porn or that Luke doesn't have a full dance card - It is just a joke)

Cool. Yeah, I got what you meant. It was intended to be a very fast paced film and to build up to some sort of climax. It's much more powerful on the big screen. Glad you like it! It was almost left out of the portfolio.

    My Puppet Group

Mervil is my favorite! You should consider writing character profiles for them. It would be interesting. Great stuff!!!! I want to see more. :)

Monsters Inc. on Video an' DVD!!!!

Hey - I liked Ice Age. It was a noble first effort. Of course it's not high quality but it had more pop than Monsters Inc in my opinion. Too much playing to the kids though. I will definitely buy it on DVD!

Thanx! There is much content to be added. I was surprised how much stuff there was. I could make another two sites out of the stuff that didn't make it. Well, this is my 3rd major. :) Film, Graphic Design, Multimedia. They all relate. The film transfer is really poor. Trying to get a better...

Monsters Inc. on Video an' DVD!!!!

After viewing the commentary I know what it is that I felt was missing. The real sense of jeopardy. Pixar spent too much effort making sure it had a light kid-friendly tone that they threw away material that would add depth to the piece for viewers over the age of four. An example - In his...

    Snoop Doggy Dog (The Degenerate)

Snoop's involvement is likely due to his publicist not the Henson or NBC folk shopping aroung for him. I'm surprised they couldn't get at least Billy Crystal or someone classic like that. And why isn't Jay Leno showing up? He'll do anything. LOL!

    Snoop Doggy Dog (The Degenerate)

Misspelled Rivkin on the final line. I'm terrible at spelling but you should be aware of it before sending it out. That's all I will comment. ;)

    Snoop Doggy Dog (The Degenerate)

I know - do we forget that The Muppet Show pilot was titled - Sex and Violence? Just seems to me that we are over-thinking this. Interesting debate though. I just really don't care very much. Hulk Hogan appearing with the Muppets is more offensive to me - just because he's such a C Level star...

Hoobs are Hooby Groovy...and their site too!

I just traveled over to the Hoobs site and it must be somewhat new because I noticed some Flash MX scripting in there. As an American, I have missed out on the Hoob phenomenon and wish it weren't so. I was expecting to see something like henson.com, muppetworld or sesameworkshop.com but I was...

    Big Muppet Toys

Beaker appeared on The Muppet Show and Kermit is considered more of a Muppet Show character, as he's the only semi Sesame cast member not owned by Sesame Workshop. Giant Kermits are relatively easy to find. Check out PB Toys online catalog or your local toy store. Ebay carries many too. They...

    Little Muppet Monsters

Well, they'd likely re-cut them to fit today's palete. Hopefully not much. I had no idea they had that many shows! It's disappointing to see that JHC obviously were backing the project at the beginning and then really backed out. I remember humming to the closing theme of the Muppet Babies and...

    Little Muppet Monsters

I liked Muppet Monsters more than Muppet Babies....waaaay more. I never got the announcement when I was a kid and always waited for it to come back. I wish they'd make another attempt these days. I'm sure it would find a place on nick or noggin.

    Snoop Doggy Dog (The Degenerate)

I'm surprised that more NBC stars aren't in the special. I think people are carrying on too much. I'm sure these actors will only be on for a second. Heck, I never much liked John Denver, but it was quite different when he was with the Muppets. Months after the announcement - why are we still...

    Snoop Doggy Dog (The Degenerate)

Seems that, once again, the Muppet Show gang is being confused with their Sesame Street cousins. The Muppet Show aucience is more mature and can make distinctions between entertainers and role models. Must everything be so PC all the time? Snoop Dog is not my fave, but I am very interested in...
