I have to agree. If they can bring back those, they can easily bring back othe classics like, Monsterpiece Theater, Grover the Waiter (though we still do see Grover/Mr. Johnson sketches), SS News Flashes, maybe with Telly in his Monster on the Spot attire if they can't use Kermit. Just a few...
Okay. I know what you mean since I have seen the remake of that one with Richard as Forgetful. Yeah. It would be nice to have the original on DVD or something.
"Make it fit." That segment might be appropriate for me considering how often I have to pack oodles of grocery bags into itty-bitty carts. GRRRR!! Maybe I'll take a look at that when I get a chance, or maybe I'll wait until it actually airs. We'll see.
Yeah. It seems like Ryan's  is seen more in inserts while the street scenes still use Kevin's probably because those are the parts of the show they taped earlier. Yet, a few earlier WOTD's still use Kevin's  .
(Interesting note: I figured out how to work the smilie thing on my...
Okay. Thanks Oscarfan. Like I said, Ryan's Elmo is good, but with more raspiness and less sweetness in the voice and maybe Ryan's is a bit deeper as well, but he's still good and sometimes it's hard to tell a difference so keep us updated on that.
I agree with you completely. It especially frustrates me when people do that while driving or in line at the grocery store where I work. GRRRRRRRRRR!
So does anyone know if it was Kevin or Ryan voicing him there? I'm going to guess Kevin, because I think the only inserts with Ryan's Elmo...
I know what you mean. I had hoped that the anchors would have had more of a conversation with those guys. It seems like the interviews shown were from past clips, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that.
I'm glad I caught that. I was a little worried because I haven't gotten my VCR set up and I have too many errands to run to sit through the whole thing today, but I caught the time. They said this should start at 8:45, so I'll keep my eyes open.
Was that it? They did talk about the Muppets...
Yeah. I've noticed that too. I don't think that's something they'd air again these days. (Heck, hardly anything from the 70s and 80s are things they'd air again these days, but that's a different story.)
You got me, but Miles left a few years back. I know it's sad when longtime cast members leave, but it seems like Chris, Leela and Mando have taken their place as the resident 'young adult' cast members.
Yeah. I see what you mean. Also I've noticed that it's often repeat episodes where they put all the good new stuff in and episodes with newer street stories just use the repeated segments. It seems like they're never consistent.
Well, I guess you of all people would know. : ) Maybe it would help if there were a voice comparison thing for him at You Tube. I guess that hasn't really been updated since Jerry's death, but that's just a suggestion for whoever makes those vids.
:insatiable: Go bye bye!
That was Jerry? I thought for sure that was Matt's Count. I guess Matt is so good as The Count, you can't really tell a difference.
Wow! That's the first we've heard about that in months. I'll have to watch this later on. It's just that right now, I don't have 22 minutes. Lol. I'm sure this is a good interview though.
Yeah. It's like I said about Ryan as Elmo. Everybody there seems to be bashing his Elmo, but all of us at MC thinks he does a good job. It seems like there's too much negativity on You Tube.
Yeah. That would be great. Even if Steve and Eric aren't available (though Eric still performs Grover quite often. He could definitely play Bert from time to time as well) they could at least play earlier :( and :p sketches. It would be nice to hear Henson's Ernie again, or if that's not...
