Well, I usually get e-mails in advance, but I didn't read my e-mail until later this afternoon. Still with my cable being out, it still may not have helped anyway. But I appreciate your help with this. Hopefully, it will be up on the web at some point.
I have to agree with that completely. I wish they had thought of that at the time of Richard's Hunt's death, then we might see more of Forgetful Jones, Sonny Friendly, etc. For whatever happens (death, retirement, resignation, etc.), it's always sad to lose a performer. But as they say, the...
I agree, street stories that involve :grouchy: are always good, because of him being the opposite of what you'd expect and the irony of that is that even he uses good manners without realizing it. Maybe they should have went after Grungetta or Osvoldo, one of those other grouches. I also liked...
Hmmmm. Jim and Steve are tied and I can see why, they're both great. But I'd probably go with Jim. I think he's better with :) doing the classics such as "Bein' Green" and "Rainbow Connection." It's not quite the same coming from Steve, but he has greatly improved over the years.
That wasn't Jerry? I may have to listen again. It really sounded like one of his characters, but maybe that was the intention. To have the character sound like a Jerry Nelson character to honor his memory. I hadn't really thought of that before.
Yeah. That's what I mentioned before, but I don't see my old post up there. Either it got deleted for some reason or maybe I just forgot to click 'post,' but anyway, I recognized Jerry's voice as one of the sheep as well. That was pretty neat. Though it would have been nice to see something...
After reading these posts I get it now. I was hoping that the Count would show up to accept his award and was a bit disappointed that he didn't until after the people who were presenting the award left. I guess I didn't realize that was the message they were trying to send. But now I understand...
True. I don't watch "The Simpsons," but I'd make an exception if they did something like that.
'Splain, Lucy. What was the line?
It's about time they did more with that other than just having Murray ask kids what the heck the word means.
Yeah. Though I think the second girl might have...
I can't help but wonder if the kid knew who he was and was just trying to be "cute" with that. You never know.
I think I see the difference between Jerry's Count and Matt's Count now. I hear more gruffness in Matt's. I haven't really noticed it before and I think it's because it's sort of the...
And to Johnny, thanks for that info. I know Kevin did prerecord Elmo's dialog for certain occassions such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. I guess he was either required to or obligated to finish some things before leaving. I know about the "two-week notice" agreement before leaving a...
Now I am a little curious about this Count tribute episode since according to what I'm hearing, it's Matt as the Count in that one. But wouldn't that have been before Jerry's death. As someone mentioned, the street scenes were taped prior to Kevin's departure which I'm guessing would have been...
Yeah. I kind of thought it was Kevin's Elmo in street scenes and ETM and Ryan's is usually used in WOTD and some inserts. Just thought I'd ask about that.
Actually, that wasn't me who mentioned that since I don't watch the ETM segment. Though that would have been cool to see. So I'm guessing that would have been Ryan as Elmo there if it was taped after Jerry's passing since I know Kevin's departure happened around the same time, so if anyone has...
Did anyone see Fozzie's appearance in the commercial during the world series, when everyone was saying "Wocha Wocha?" as a chant for Michael Wocka. I'm curious as to if this was something new or if this was footage from another one of his appearances. Any thoughts on this?
