Only about 7 years since it was updated;) Honestly, had Disney not bought the Muppets I doubt if JHC ever would have updated it...itd be like if Lucasfilm had never updated starwars.com since te special editions came out.
Hmmm, perhaps we will see a Gobo Palisades direct figure then!
Luke, do you think....if we remove ourselves from a fan's perspective...having all our favorite Muppet fanchises with seperate companies: Disney(Muppets, Bear),
JHC/HIT!(Fraggle Rock, Hoobs) and Sesame Wokshop(Sesame Street)...
I do wish Mirrormask was more organic settings/animatronics/puppetry than cgi. They should have brought The Brothers Quay in to add an extra layer of crypticness. But definately cannot wait for this.
bah...I didnt even have net access til I was 18(1996) That is the way it should be for all! ^__^ (we sure would get wayyy less "oMG sO liek ne1 iNTO FonZIE!!?? cuz he's reely cOOl lOlZorz!1111"
this would be very very good...as in very very very good. Oh yes...too early to rejoice...
Oh man that was hillarious...I just love how they try to tackle more modern 'themes' and 'situations'. Theres an easter egg on the site whereMickey and Minney teach ya about the birds and the bees...which, I guess would result in beeds, or birs.
And those side show busts aint cheap...sorry this happened to ya. Ive been ripped out of near a thousand dollars over the last year, but thats more from people not making good on services for my site.
It's funny how people only want a figure they remember, what about the look of it? At any rate, I think ultimately, the line should have been the scale or thereabouts of the mini Muppets...just with articulation, and been $5-$6 each, ala the Hasbro Star Wars line. Oh yes, instead of big clunky...
Ok, now I remember...awhile back the Electric Mayhem minis *were* tentatively scheduled for this xmas...so, sadly I guess no mini Muppets this xmas? *cries* I wonder why there would be such a long wait from now til Electric Mayhem ones come out? hmmm.
Now I don't know about you guys, but my...
1. taking a cue from the old muppets.com, little individualized stuff for each character...chef's recipes, or Gonzo's weird q&a, Pepe's love advice...maybe even animated.
2. true exclusives, content ya just wont find anywhere else.
3. a forum...if only so that we may be able to see long...
You mean the Rushmore puppets from Muppet Show: Sex and Violence? Now that would be obscure! Well hey, any Muppet prominence is a good sign...I love seeing Muppets in commercials. Anyone know of any commercials from other brands with our furry pals? C'mon, ya can tell us.
I find the Mickey ears on Kermit distasteful, especiallys aying he's the happiest frog on earth. ugh. But this new teaser site is wonderful...too bad JHC never updated the site.
Well obviously Palisades knew that releasing pix woul donly stir up fan's feelings on the matter. All I know is, Palisades made Fraggle figures arent gonna happen now...tho maybe HIT! will make some cool FR figures next year.
Just wanted to voice that it's a little dismaying Muppet Central's front page is only updated every now and then. Most the news is on the forums, which is ok...but for a lot of people who chekc out the main site, only updating the news every now and awhile I'm not to sure about. From new news on...
