I really enjoy the mixed assortments. The MCC section is the one I seem to care for the least (not that I don't care about it). Having a mix makes for the strongest pieces rather than having to fill a theme. I also love having the couple of obscure ones in there like Nigel.
Must have missed that this morning. Thanks. Good to see it is a very recent development or you'd think I was slacking off on the figure news. LOL!
Janice is one that I am really looking forward to and I actually think it's great she'll have a repaint to fit in with the rest of the guys. Now...
When was that statemnt made? Did I miss something? I have read back through the threads and haven't found that yet. Was it made on the Palisades board? If so, please create a link to it. Thanx.
:)
The toyfare line plan suggests, Clifford, Johnny and Sal will be released in the second half of next year. Hey, the new Muppet Show will be out by then. This will help give it a push, so there will be a current project out when these are released.
Standard Rowlf and others really need to be...
Wow! Kermit is back. Okay, he did seem nervous and made that unfortunate comment that made him seem like he supported porn, but he really held his own and kicked some froggy butt. But he didn't pinch any butt no matter what Sarah said. LOL!
I really think Rizzo should come alone because he is practically a big gun these days. Sal and Johnny might need a push in marketing though so I'd be for packing them together. But we all must remember the expense that goes into each figure, much more than any accessory. So that may not be...
Battle of the Puppet Shows!
Last night Craig reported that comedian Sarah Silverman, who also starred on the Fox canceled puppet show Greg the Bunny, will also appear on tomorrow night’s show with Kermit. They will be pitted against each other in rapid-fire question game, Yambo. I wonder if the...
Craig is a bit crass for his age while I feel Dave has earned his cranky image over time. LOL! Oh, and Kilborn did mention Kermit last night. People cheered a lot at the mention of the green one, but Craig diffused the situation saying he was trying something different. He couldn't just say that...
Um, say what? I was lalking about Kermit appearing on Dave, not Craig Kilborn. LOL! I can kind of see how you could misread that but it still doesn't make much sense in the context of my post.
Craig has already appeared on Letterman. I love Dave and think that's one of the last few staples of...
Not a big Kilborn fan, but this is a must see interview. Doesn't seem like Craig's sort of thing, but that makes it all the more interesting! I wish he'd go on Dave sometime.
I completely agree. NBC has that somewhat sappy nostalgic show American Dreams on Sunday nights. I can see that audience crossing over to watch the special.
The date of the TV Guide magazine containing the article is listed as Saturday, March 9 to Monday, March 11, 2002 - not the show. It's an easy mistake to make. I hope this clears up any confusion. :)
Now the Animal watch had a kind of youthful punk sort of look so that didn't bother me (actually considered getting it) but these are absolutely hideous! They look like they're rejects from Ebay that get posted every day because no one bids on them! Kind of harsh, but that's how I see it. The...
Yeah, but ABC booted Muppets Tonight from it's Friday line-up so that comparison is kind of strange, but I get what you're saying. Also, I know most networks consider Muppets kid fare, my comment was that they shouldn't. I find it a grave mistake. Many of my friends would have switched on...
Why do the Muppets keep getting stuck on Fridays? That's where the networks tend to push their undesirable programming. I tell Many 20-30 year old long time fans are usually out getting their groove on. I am convinced it had something to do with the cancelation of Muppets Tonight.
