YAY! Guess what. The show premeres next Saturday...
Without any promotion of any kind...
at 7 in the morning when everyone's asleep.
Great job with this one, CN. I'm sure no one will notice the change in the marathon of shows that are already marathoned all week long. Friggin' show could...
WHABAMM! Cracked has all the gory details.
Wasn't Dora and Mickey's Clubhouse already over? Kind of surprised about FOP. Then again, the show really was showing signs of major fatigue. I get Timmy's Dad being a complete idiot, but Crocker?!? The last batch of episodes was also extremely...
Equestria Girls was essentially Hasbro trying to expand back into the fashion doll field since they kinda don't have one, and it was easier to piggy back on a successful franchise than to try to make a new one. They made the movie to advertise the toyline. Nothing out of the ordinary there...
I really didn't see either going anywhere, frankly. It's NBC. Somehow, no one watches them anymore, but they care enough to cancel things. Parks and Rec has a cult audience, meaning people actually watch it. That's essentially all they got as far as comedy goes. A to Z looked crummy anyway...
Lemme also guess. They dealt with it in the most emotionally manipulative way possible? I know this is really really really really off topic, but I HATE Parenthood. It's like the show constantly strives for being as depressing as possible. I wouldn't be surprised if they managed to talk...
Not only that, but the portal that Stan was working on at the end of the episode sucked up his notepad and mug and transported them to...
The episode of Rick and Morty with the society of Ricks!
I don't mind the Simpsons being on forever, much like Sesame Street or Saturday Night Live. Family Guy... ehhh.. I still like and watch the show, but I agree with Seth who wanted to actually stop the series a while ago. Then again, since no one went to see "A Million Ways to Die in the West,"...
All I know is the show has been renewed up to this season. It has enough of a large cult fanbase, and the comics are doing quite well. I'd say the best shot is for it to pull an American Dad and leave Fox for Cartoon Network, where it seems to be doing better and in better company anyway...
Two things.
Apparently, NO one like Mulheny, and it's episode count was reduced. Not cancelled, but it doesn't look good (hopefully they can get Bobs on that slot when the episodes run out), Utopia is shoved off to Fridays, but still replaced with another reality show... but a Gordon Ramsey...
I know this is asking for way too much of a stretch, but does anyone have the rare as heck Pinky and the Brain "Bubba Bo Bob Brain" CD?
And I'm asking for the trillionth time... anyone got the Flintstones movie soundtrack and can send me just the B-52's bits from it?
Hey! I saw that Blondie one not too long ago. The boss was voiced by Allan Oppenheimer, and he sounded sort of like Prime Evil (or Battlecat if you prefer). I think Marvel animation did that one. No wonder they had that crossover on Muppet Babies.
The Marvin one I have fond memories of...
Strange side note...
The lack of any Marvel reprints of the comics has driven existing comics (predictably) to ridiculous prices.
Guess this is a boon to those who managed to get these relatively not well known comics cheap and managed to hang on to them. And you know, I can kind of see why...
It's kind of disappointing. There's a lot of potential for Abby they still aren't using considering he's been on the show for a pretty long time now. Even if you look at the Flying Fairy School segments, very rarely do events unfold as a result of her fault. It's usually Blogg or Gonnigan's...
I kinda agree with the Furry Potter thing. I get the reasons why they'd do something basic for a kid's show, but they really had limitless potential for scenes of the film to mine for the exact purpose. Not to mention the fact it was exactly like the James Bond and POTC parodies, only not as...
Anyone ever stop to think how incredibly British the terminology of some of the tropes are? Exactly what it says on the TIN? Throw a SPANNER into the works?
Terms that don't sound right in the US because of the separation between a common language.
The difference being that Phil's comments were initially outrageous and shocking and ticked off enough people that the network would have lost sponsors if they didn't drop the show. Phil being an arrogant Christian Conservative, not only stood by his "I'm not a bigot...but" comments, but...
I remember her not being in it, and only Barry Bostwick being involved.
It sucks they took the satire of the movie to make another statement which they botched anyway. But enough of that.
I can't wait for that full length Halloween Homestar cartoon. Hasn't popped up yet.
