I knew a new Statler/Waldorf segment a week would be too much for the Diz to handle...(tho it was weird they mentioned reviewing Sahara, which comes out this week)
Sweet! This reminds me of the travelling Matt segments from FR. It's about time Bear leaves Woodland Valley and gets into the real world. Only thing is...will we be seeing any cameos from the *other* cast? I mean Tutter, he is so cute!
I'm a huge Bear fan...and well, kids need quality...
Well I just hope they don't get any 'content' complaints...we see few enough Muppet stuff as it is, it's not their fault America is still in ultra puritanical mood. Besides, this was done under the supervision *of* Disney, which is currently sterilizing the Muppets as we speak. Let us people...
I'd just like a forum that is not as elitest as Tp, but not as...kindergartenish as MC:) Perhaps I just want to rekindle the magic the MC forums had from 98-2002.
I think it is just a fact that even in 50 years youth will look toward the 1980's as a thing of wonder imagination and creativity. I believe that the 70's and 90's were void of that kind of magic. This is why most of the top video games are 80's revivals, as with the musical influence, cartoon...
All I can say is, I cannot think of one movie or special(with the big exception of Muppets@WDW) that I liked where Disney was attached. I liked Muppets Tonight, but MCC and MTI are far from anything I'd wanna watch again.
Guys, you know when youre watcing tv, and you see a Muppet comemrcial...
Again, for everyone thinking the Muppets should be squeaky clean sterile fun, might I suggest Sesame Street and Mopatops? or how bout Bear and the Hoobs?
I don't suggest seeing Kermit on lat enight talk shows, as you'll have to plug your ears. Also, I can see why peopel are glad Disney bought...
I didn't have time to read all the posts...but my favorites are:

Tank Girl(1995)

Hey, I can symphathize. From kindergarten through high school I got relentlessly teased: for being asian, overweight, poor, whatever the excuse was. Are you in jr high or hs? Fly me down for a few days, and I guarantee these kids won't be messin' with ya at school anymore:) Sadly it's 2005 and...
This is seriously one of, if not thee best updated source of Mupet and JH related news info in the 8 years I've been looking at Muppet sites online. For a long tim I have yearned for a *regularly* updated site. My only advice is you spread your antennas high and your tentacles wide. To get true...
1. http://gelflingwaldo.blogspot.com/ I believe blows Tough Pigs and MC out of the water as far as keepin gup to date with all the Muppet/SS/FR/JHC related info.
2. This is ok news, but what about FR figures? I wish there was a way Palisades could at least release that Gobo figure they made.
I think it's just so cool they are coming out with Guy Smiley and Two Headed Monster/FranknStein right off the bat. That rules. Sorry Toys 4 Fun, but it had to happen like this.
