Listen, I've been a HARDCORE rabid Muppets fan since the early 80's...Ive been on here since 1998. I have lived, breathed and ate Muppets my entire life. So don't you think that I can sense when a ship has been sank? I've posted countless posts how I feel there is still hope left for our beloved...
As I've said, virtually any time Ive seen anything Muppety related it's given me a sense of aw and tingly sensations of excitement. I not only feel in awe by this Oz trailer, but nauseated.
Well one could say it's because these days most of MC's population is the teenage folks, but even back in the day us 20 and 30 somethingers unfortunately had a go at eachother here and there. It's human nature, and unfortunate. But I agree, it's strange to be celebrating the work of JH yet...
I like the sound of that.
Hey, I wish someone had told me I was wrong at 10 or 11. Luckily I figured it out not to long after. Anyways, I was banend from Tough Pigs because some folks felt I was a homophone and gay hater. Obviously that aint the case:)
I did not know this individual was...
That would be a miracle at this point
Now this truly would be a miracle...I don't know if any company sees the Muppets as commercially viable theatrically. It's too bad Juhl is far removed from Muppet writing.
whoah, you're back! It's been like 2 and a half years! :)
And yeah, I wrote an article a few months ago saying the line will soon come where there is the 1955-2004 Muppets we knew, then these Disneyana versions that will become unrecognizable.
These whole past years have been a nightmare. Who would have thought the Hensons would give up their only begotten felt to the Free Mason-Illuminati-Evil Corporation known as the Diz, after successfully buying back the Muppets from the Germans? Well crap, planes flying into landmarks, our...
My only wish is that people learned proper spelling, punctuation and grammar...I know some of you are pretty young and over excitable, but still. I also wish some old timers would come back, but that is wishful thinking. We're in the 'Diz' era now.
MIS will seem like Lawrence of Arabia to us compared to this. Seriously, are we back in the turmulturous early 90's again? Did someone die? Why the heck are they treading down the same classic tale revisioning they did back in the early to mid 90's? Just sad.
Are you serious, man that is messed up. I'm so sorry about that. Any dude into the Muppets is the right guy for someone.
I don't like it because it's depressing, and it came at a very dark and unfortunate time(the early 90's) in Muppet history

'Cause make no mistake, folks. A lot is riding on how well this new Muppet TV movie does in the ratings. If "Oz" wins its time slot that night, I'm told that Disney will greenlight production of a new Muppet TV movie (Possibly...
I would have liked to have seen the Muppets interact with the kids, that would have been memorable. Hey more exposure I am all for, plus this was for a good cause. I didn't get to see it tho.
You do realize Jim Henson made Sam the Eagle as a spoof on the uptight conservatives in America right? He's making fun of all the people that get offended all the time about every little thing, that's why it's brilliant.
I agree with you to some extent...tho I just have to say the Muppets...
1. Heck yeah. Just from seeing Clash perform his characters in person, his puppeteering skills have to be the best I've ever seen. I just wish they wouldnt call it a 'daytime Emmy', as it puts it in the same category as Soaps.
2. I'm not sure, they will still come out with the other BEar...
