What are friends for?
Come on, let's have a positive attitude on this. Do you really think they're going to leave Kermit and Miss Piggy in Thailand and leave fans in the dark about what happened? We just need to keep on ABC about this.
That's a good idea. I still need to contact them about the show's potential renewal anyway, so I can mention my ideas while I'm at it.
Wow! The Muppets are going to be on Jeopardy! too? That's interesting. Would they get to play or would they just read clues or how would that work?
I...
Oh, man. I was just about to pull a prank like that and you beat me to the punch. I guess I ought to start my April Fools pranks a day or two early. Oh, well. Just for fun, here's what I would have said:
Great news. According to an email I got from ABC, the Muppets Season 2 will be renewed...
That's disappointing that they air in the middle of the night and I don't have a means of taping these. I guess I'll just have to watch for video clips online. Lol.
Yeah. I've heard some Winnie the Pooh voice recordings where they didn't use the usual voice cast. Then there was one with Yogi and Boo Boo where Boo Boo was voiced by June Foray rather than Don Messick and Don was around at the time. The strange things they did with those kinds of records...
That's a good thought, but I probably don't want to take that chance because of spending more money than I need to. We can always watch the cut scenes online or in the case of "You've Got a Friend" from the Vincent Price episode, TimeLife had that one taken care of.
Oh, so we lost both Mr. Hanford's? I heard about David's passing, but I didn't know about Leonard's. Sad that everyone who previously owned Hooper's store before Alan has passed on. Oh, well. R.I.P. Mr. Smyrl.
You really should finish that story sometime, Snowth. They never really did...
Well, Gonzo is definitely the biggest example there. As one of the few Muppets who's had the same performer from Day One, (Save for TGSCS which doesn't really count because that was sort of a proto-Gonzo there.) it's been pretty evident that Dave has really developed the voice over time. Just...
Yeah. I just caught that on You Tube this morning. That was interesting. (I just wonder why Cookie didn't eat the crumbs, or anything else on the table while he was waiting.) I would have spent the time cleaning up the mess. Lol.
Yeah. I was just thinking about the fact that Billy isn't included in the Ernie voice comparison, so I'd like to hear some more comments on that one. Kee hee hee hee!
Really? I don't look at that much. I usually use You Tube. That's kind of disappointing because I was hoping that they'd eventually put the HBO episodes on that site for people who don't get the network, but if the site isn't working that probably wouldn't do much good.
That would be a good idea. At least on the Disney channel they probably wouldn't have the Muppets sing a song about the word 'da**.' Yeah, I know, you're all thinking, "Daffy. Get over that." But I kind of like that Disney is more family friendly than ABC. For example, when "Boy Meets...
