Now what we have to do is fill up 365 days of menus! Argh! Would make me insane, but I am insane enough to do it. I'm sure national Bill Barretta, Penguin, Rowlf the dog, Mokey and Janice days would have no objections. ;) Maybe we'll stick with Kermit.
I aint touching that one. (crickets chirping) But I will say that I can find the best things in the worst movies and the worst in the best. That's kind of how I look at things, but I often want a refund. ;)
I remember taking my FP Miss Piggy puppet to school the first day of Kindergarden. Always loved the pig. The girls in the class loved me and we all brushed and braided her hair together. :D No questions please.
The film's pace doesn't have the pop to it that the trailer has. I didn't find it boring though. It just wasn't in your face like so many films are these days. There are some minor structual issues, but it is an entertaining film. I felt really good after leaving the theater and still feel quite...
Yeah, the book seems like it would be cool. BTW - Jennifer Garner was totally wasted in that film. She just stops by to say hi and leaves, Weird. Guess she really wanted to work with Spielberg. Who wouldn't? ;)
Oh, I so agree about thin Piggy. It's mainly in pictures, though. She looks healthy in the projects. I like that she looks younger now. Her look(s) in the Christmas special made me happy!
I disagree about GMC, because I like it for the very reasons that a couple of you don't. It's interesting...
I think of Mr Rogers every time I change my shoes. :p
OMG! I too found some of the SS animation unsettling. Especially that pinball thing. I don't quite know why.
I only like(d) the puppet parts of Sesame Street. I'd flip off the toons. (ducks) I know there's more of us out there.
Matt
You are totally right. Neither actor is my fave, but they did a good job here. This just shows how Spielberg is so talented when compared to a George Lucas. Strip away the FX and Steven is still great with the actors! Such chemistry. I'd say that's something that you just can't computer...
Lived in New York too. Great place. I'm just a total urbanite. There's so much freedon in not having a car and having everything be less than a twenty minute walk from where you are.
Yeah, I belong in SF ;) But believe it or not, I am actually more conservative than most people there.
I see everybody going to freeze frame their DVDs! I honestly don't know. Would be funny.
My first theatrical Muppet film was the Muppet Movie so I can understand how this one would hold a special place in your heart. Plus it had the Muppets all living their real lives together. That was...
As GMC was kind of the Piggy movie, this one seemed like the Barretta movie. His characters were the bright spot. I just can't understand how they could have space in the title and not really go to outerspace (except in the dream sequence).
I think most fans were looking forward to seeing...
Ahh. I don't keep up with the Palisades board all that much. Too much figure talk for the frogboy :).
I have a feeling Lips will be made if the line continues for its course. I just don't know if Lips will be first. Nigel is a longshot.
