Interesting thing about Muppet Central that can wreak havoc on people computers...

We'll try to check it out. You could be right, but Movies205 did not state that as an issue. It is a rare occurrence and we will explore it. MC is about as Flash friendly as it gets. The only alternative is to have an intro page notifying the user of the plug in. We probably won't have 2...

Interesting thing about Muppet Central that can wreak havoc on people computers...

Haven't heard about that. I know it doesn't happen on all computers, but everyone's system is different. We'll check on that, but the Flash plug in is so tiny that it only takes a minute to download. Don't see why someone wouldn't say yes.

Is The SwedishChef Playset going to be an Exclusive?

EB's stuff is very prompt, but don't trust their dates. Palisades doesn't release firm dates - so it is all tentative. They get all the items when everyone else does so it's all good. TRU actually gets stuff later anyway. I have also heard EB also has a pretty good cutomer service/return policy...

Is The SwedishChef Playset going to be an Exclusive?

There's an issue with the new buyer and their relationship who doesn't understand the action figure market and has no relationship with Palisades. www.ebgames.com is your best bet for hard to get items.

Is The SwedishChef Playset going to be an Exclusive?

The kitchen set will come out after series 3, but is still a part of it. As Phillip mentioned, no further Muppet figures will be sold at Toys R Us. But there are many other retailers. Check the list at www.palisadestoys.com for more information. However, there will be a Collectors...

Fraggle Rock's 20th Anniversary on MC

A little menu trick: When I changed the button activation from "on press" to "on release" several weeks ago - I remembered why I had coded it with the press action. It's not a big deal, but if your press a menu option (character) hold the button down and dragg the mouse out of the...

Why did they cancel Muppets Tonight so quickly?

Celebrity Mole has all the US reject actors that hardly anyone knows or remembers all playing a faux spy game at a remote location. One is a double agent who screws things up. Yawn.

Fraggle Rock's 20th Anniversary on MC

Thanx. It is now the prototype of a future menu if we ever get Fraggle guides. Still waiting on the darn Muppet ones! LOL!

Fraggle Rock's 20th Anniversary on MC

You got me. This totally snuck up on me. The menu was designed and made in a day's time. We had a few days notice, though.

Why did they cancel Muppets Tonight so quickly?

Ahh. It just didn't bomb here. I'm not sure if a high profile US slot would have helped it then. hmmm.

    Forum menu

Beauregard We have a few more months before the forum menu will debut, but check out the special Fraggle Rock menu for the time being. It's on our main page: http://www.muppetcentral.com . Thanks for you interest. We have a spectacular idea for the new forum menu. Just takes time.

Why did they cancel Muppets Tonight so quickly?

It never really bombed Geez, did I miss something? It never really bombed. It did respectfully and pulled in the same numbers as the shows around it. I kept up with them in Variety. But it should have done better. Just don't like to see people stating the B word when it really isn't warranted.

    Dioramas

Gonzo could have been in another one, but he is actually drawn on the theater panels under Statler and Waldorf.

    Happy Fraggle 20th Anniversary!

Congradulations Fraggle Rock! The show was really special to me - especially since my family didn't have cable at the time. I was always at some special place when viewing the show - vacations or my grandparents' house. I still have only seen about a third of the episodes and wish someone would...

Why we love and/or hate Beauregard

So, everybody seems to like Beauregard. :)

Favourite episode of the Muppet Show?

Elton John. To see Scooter so excited and Miss Piggy sing "Don't Go Breakin' My Heart" with Elton and the Mayhem get into the action in "Crocodile Rock" was fantastic. Probably some of the best music ever performed on the Muppet Show.

    Dioramas

Ohhh. Poor disco ball. :( Well, disco is dead, but the disco balls are here to stay. I remember that recycling commercial about a beer bottle that became a disco ball. Always made me smile. :) I'll take some pictures in a few weeks. The set up is really kind of cool. The disco set is pretty...

Why did they cancel Muppets Tonight so quickly?

What I think really happened - Disney didn't know what to do with Muppets Tonight so they killed it. Most people didn't even know it was on. It wasn't continuously on either. It was a mid season replacement without very strong promotional backing. Only half of the 22 episodes actually aired on...
