You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

Why are some people so butthurt over how other people treat their pets? I mean, what's the big deal if pet lovers regard their furry friends as one of the family? Aren't pets part of the family anyway? What is so horrible about people who are like, "My Fluffikins isn't just a pet, she's my...

Sesame Street Season 47 Episode 4719 - House of Worm

The Letter of the Month Club episode from Season 35 had a similar problem.

    Questions about anything

Ugh . . . why, why, why are TV shows doing that thing again where the characters stare at you lifelessly at the end of their promos? Having characters stare into my soul with the intentions of stealing it doesn't entice me to want to watch.

The New Am I The Only One Thread

Am I the only one who thinks it's kind of sad that shows have to make a special point to bring up the fact they're scripted in their promos now? Has reality and "live" TV really become such a big thing that we have to further differentiate other fiction-based shows from them?

Sesame Street Season 47 Episode 4719 - House of Worm

So who is Turner? Aside from that, this was another street story that felt like it captured the spirit of older street stories; I thought it was done well enough, and it didn't feel too rushed, nor did it feel like filler padded out for time. I must also point out how much I loved Marty's...

    The Chipmunks

Yup. I have a feeling ALVINNN is already seeing an early death, despite having been renewed for two more seasons: there's only one unaired episode left of the current season (one full half hour episode, that is), but Nick won't even air it, it'll be premiere on Nicktoons instead, at a completely...

    The "You know what?" thread

The Bugs and Daffy feud was already long-established when I was a kid, so seeing Daffy regard Bugs as a hero and speaking so highly of him in that short did seem quite odd, out of character, and out of context. But what confuses me more than anything is how the manager of the hotel basically...

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

I'm noticing some of NantoVision's videos disappearing again.

Caroll Spinney seems to think one problem was another dark fantasy movie called LEGEND came out shortly before LABYRINTH did, and it supposed was a box office flop as well, so he figures many moviegoers were getting the two movies mixed up: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legend_(1985_film)

The New What Made You Frown Today Thread

It is. This isn't my worst case of it, but the first time I got it (a couple of years ago or so), I had to deal with it for weeks, and after it got better, to this day my outer three toes on my right foot still don't like they're supposed to.

    Questions about anything

I'm guessing it must be the former, because the brands taste almost nothing like restaurant. I disagree, however, about bottles vs. cans, though I seem to be the only one. I find the drinks stay colder and fresher longer in cans than they do bottles.

    Questions about anything

How is it that certain condiments never taste as good as they do in restaurants? I mean, take salad dressing for example: big brand-named labels like Hidden Valley or Kraft don't taste as good as restaurant salad dressing.

I'd have to watch again, but the last time I watched the movie, I just remember how bland and flat she seemed from beginning to end; but then again, in movies such as this, the puppets are always far more entertaining than the live actors anyway. :p Definitely, and for those very reasons, he...

The New What Made You Frown Today Thread

Right now I've been prescribed a low-grade pain killer to take on an as-needed basis, and a steroid that I have to take when I eat, otherwise it will tear up my stomach. But I'm going to try to see my chiropractor tomorrow, if nothing else, to get an adjustment.

The Nostalgia Critic Thread Lives Again!

And I thought it was weird that Doug would do commentary videos on Nostalgia Critic, which is essentially reviewing his own stuff . . . but now, he's actually reviewing his own stuff: To be fair, apparently this review is intentionally meant to be meta, but still, I don't even know what my...

That seemed to be Jim's creative process much of the time, particularly with some of his more ambitious projects such as DC, in that he felt whatever technical and artistic advancements we saw on screen would more than make up for the lack of story structure . . . unfortunately, that's not...

The Nostalgia Critic Thread Lives Again!

I would imagine he's got some clout, considering how long he's been connected with them; not to mention he seems to be their figure head, so-to-speak (well, moreso as Nostalgia Critic, but I notice a majority of content on CA is his, not to mention he speaks out on their issues, like the Fair...

    When you need to rant...

John Oliver totally needs to do a "How is This Still a Thing?" of Ryan Seacrest. I mean, seriously, how and why is he still a thing?
