OMG! Yeah, what is it with punk kids today. My ex keeps getting his BMW's top slashed by one of his neighbor. It costs a couple thousand to replace it each time. Don't get how people do such things to nice people. Any ideas on how to catch this guy?
In my 28 years on the planet, I have barely seen Lambchop in anything. It's not really a recent issue with me. That puppet hasn't had much of a presence around me and I've always watched a lot of television. I honestly don't know how younger kids know who she is. At least, not ones in Houston...
Annika-
Wonderful idea! A mini boarding house for the PVC figures. Perfect.
Zach-
The MCC characters aren't dressed up in red and green or Santa costumes so they don't appear that seasonal. A lot of folks liked that movie (though it's not one of my faves) and the costumes and sets from...
Luke
Are you saying the photos look better than the figures? I totally disagree. I think the figures look so much better in person. That's been kind of a running thing people have been saying around the board for a year. None of my paint jobs look bad as you've said. Maybe the UK gets the first...
I agree with that statement. My folks were busy people, but they monitored what I watched. I remember when I was seven; we weren't allowed to watch Three's Company. Seems funny now, but it was considered rather racy twenty some-odd years ago. We'd flip it on and my folks would catch us in less...
LOL! When I lived in New York, I wouldn't go to the Bronx either. Had lots of friends in Brooklyn and they were just SOL. Kind of my rule - if it takes more than 20 minutes to walk there, I aint goin. :) Kind of creepy down there too.
Didn't notice that the marriage lasted. It's really kind...
What's the status of that marriage? I didn't follow it. I thought the got an annulment after the wedding. Guess I got that impression, but never saw it happen. I tend to catch the reruns over the summer. I only watch Will and Grace between commercials while watching CSI or over the summer.
The truth is that much of the young public these days identifies with the last few Muppet films than the do the Muppet Show. A major section of the market remembers the Hispaniola, but not Vet's Hospital. Yeah, I'd like to see Vet's Hospital first, but it would not be wise just to focus on the...
Yeah, I'm afraid that the show has already jumped the shark with the near marriage and the pregnancy pact with Will. It's just a tightrope with those characters. If the show doesn't grow, it could become stale quickly, but if it goes too far there will be nowhere else to go but to a series...
From the picture I would have said the red shirt and green floatie, but I actually think I prefer the blue shirt with the orange floatie. I can't exactly say why. Maybe the darker color looks better on him. The bear looks nice in blue!
Yes, but not many puppets are as important as Muppets. That was my point. Sure, Lambchop is important, but I was barely exposed to her when I was a kid and many kids today wouldn't be able to tell you who she is, but Fozzie Bear, well that's another matter. I'd say he has stand-alone clout as a...
Ooooh. I did much worse in my misspent youth. Ever heard of the ping-pong ball in the gas tank? Won't divulge the substance you are supposed to fill it with, but it aint sugar. I just wonder why this punk is bugging a nice guy like Quinn. Now that's freaky.
Don't know if Sean is gay. They always seem to dodge the question when the cast is asked the question. This leads me to believe they either want the public to think that to increase the show's popularity or that he really is. I can't imagine him being anything else. That could be a problem later...
Blonde moment
When I saw my first episode of Will & Grace (probably the second or third show of the first season) I didn't even know Will was supposed to be gay. LOL! I only saw part of it and didn't realize what the show was about. I was too busy in those days to watch too much TV. Craziness! :p
LOL! Hey, it worked for Palisades, but I wouldn't expect this sort of mogul to have time to take calls from teenagers asking about the Muppets. Doesn't make any sense to me either. There is a creepy quality about it.
Beaker
Will & Grace is insanely popular so I think they reach a lot of people. Actually, Karen is my favorite part. Jack is my least favorite - probably because I don't associate with people like him that don't accomplish much of anything. Karen is a big fave of the gay community. She's kind...
I agree. WWF seems to have as many toys in the stores as the latest Disney offering. Without kids the WWF or WWE or whatever the heck it's called now - wouldn't exist. Without the adult crowd it could still live on from what I see.
I also agree with your claim about the difference between the...
